Yes, that is exactly is true in my case. I drive on this road at least two times a week. The wind mill is only about 5 miles from my house! Coming back from my group ride today, I took this road knowing there are a lot of farms along it. I looked for a wind mill and couldn’t believe It was there when I blew right past it. I did a U turn and got the picture.
yep, that's how I spotted all of them. Blow right past and go, hey that was a windmill. The big one I took the pic of, I ride that road at least twice a week. Great curvy road. Never noticed the windmill before.
Good job suhawk305! Amazing how they hide in plain sight waiting to be noticed. Makes you wonder what else we are missing.

Better late than never? I went out tilting at the pavement this afternoon and found some windmills. Who woulda thunk it? There's no water around here! These were taken on South 14 on the way to Mountainair, New Mexico.
