Well, there's a ton of construction going on to widen the 405 freeway a few blocks from my office, so this shouldn't be too hard...
(I'm not counting this pic, it's pretty old. Just thought it was cool to catch a scooper in mid-dump.)
In some of the children's playgrounds, they have big sandpits and miniature articulated diggers. Sort of like the picture below, but slightly larger, cemented in and more robust. I love it when the kids can't work it and I have to help. I love it even more when there aren't any kids around and I get to play on it.
Well, then, Cormanus, park your bike next to it and take a pic, with you sitting on the kid crane. Looks like a municipal implement to me!

Hmm, good, ... no body in that scoop.
Not that I could see, anyway. I am sure that if CalTrans (California road building department) wanted to hide a body, they wouldn't just dump it into a truck right next to a heavily travelled exit lane, for everyone to see.
Besides, they're working at night as well, much better time for body hiding.
Gone...and whose body are we talking about, somebody, nobody or........

There are sooooooo many in the greater L.A. area.
Happy to say that I've never run across a body in my travels through L.A. At least I haven't looked for one. Or been asked to hide one.

Huh. The Crown Victoria is not a truck?
I thought all municipal Parks and Recreation Department vehicles were always a small pickup truck or bigger, you know ... just in case something extra had to be hulled around.
