Okay! Below I have quoted my original post but with different URLs for the images which should work for all. (The 403 error is "forbidden," meaning that I tried to share an image which was not public. Of course, this wasn't immediately evident to me when previewing my post, since I'm always authorized to see my own photos.)

Also, thanks for all the nice comments about my wife's Dream! I restored it over a year from Feb 2011 to Feb 2012, doing almost everything myself--the paint and leather seat rebuild were done by local professionals, and the valvetrain was done by a great guy named Ed in Texas, but the rest of the engine and bits were a fun and frustrating experience for me. I owe a lot to the good folks at [url=http://www.honda305.com/forum/]honda305.com for their invaluable advice and resources since one doesn't just "go get" parts for these things. I plan on restoring my CB 750 in the coming years; now that I have the 1100, I can put the 750 up on the lift for as long as I need.

PS: sorry about the links instead of included images. This is my first time posting images to this forum. I guess I could have used the "attachment" method, but a limit of 250Kb is, well, not enough bits. I'll have to figure out a good way of posting pics without creating a new account somewhere.

Got Ed's contact info, just in case? Me being in Texas and all. Big Grin

All I can remember at the moment is that his name on the 305 forum is LOUD MOUSE. And he's in Kerrville.

Darlin', give me a head with hair, long beautiful hair
Shining, gleaming, steaming, flaxen, waxen
Give me down to there hair, shoulder length or longer
Here, baby, there, momma, everywhere, daddy, daddy
Hair, hair, hair, hair, hair, hair, hair, hair
Flow it, show it, long as God can grow it, my hair.

Off-topic, but one of my favorite records (courtesy of an older brother's collection) is the outtakes from Hair: The Musical ... called, appropriately, DisinHAIRited ...

1971 : My first Honda - a CB 125 S (single) - candy red! I was 16, here is the departure for holidays in Brittany, I had 400 km to ride from where I lived then.

2019 : I ride this 2013 CB 1100... A little bit less red painted parts, and not exactly the same red, but similar!

I also found this picture, 1971 or 1972, not very crisp but it is a good souvenir. I am sorry I will not try and make a similar picture on the CB1100... Wink

All 3 pics are nice Thumbs Up
Very contrasting times Delphisa! Those are fun images.

How long did your CB125S clutch live?
My first bike in 1971 was a Honda CB175, also in that gorgeous red, Jean Pierre. I don’t think I have a colour picture of it, sadly.
Here we go;

And yes, that's the same leathers but the stance is a little different but hee.

Same but adjusted for color and contrast.
The one on the right was taken by a photographer as we rode as a group of four and he suggested the group and individual shots, turned out to be a good investment.
MAXimus, you and bikes look good Thumbs Up
Fantastic Max! You haven't aged a bit!
