We had been PMing about the Batmobile in the Petersen. It came out of the shop and was back on display this weekend. I couldn't figure out how to attach photos to a PM, so here's some info on that particular car.

You mentined the movie Twister. The one thing I was geeking out over when it first came out was Bill Paxton's Dodge truck, which had that new body style that everyone was nuts for at the time.
Not a new photo, as my bike still has its silver side panels here, but I had planned to ride to this location at lunch today for one more movie location picture. It's just a few miles from my office, and the PetSmart where we buy our cat food is across the street. But, Mrs. Gone is going shopping today, so she'll get the food, and I'll go for a walk for lunch.
This is the opening to one of the blimp hangars at the former Marine Corps Air Station in Tustin. There are two of them, and they're massive. Each of them stored several coastal defense blimps during WW2, and even though the air station is long gone, and is being replaced with housing developments and business centers, the hangars are historically protected.
They've been used for local events like car shows, so I can recognize the interiors of them. In particular, I instantly spotted it as the "laboratory" where they built Austin Powers' time machine car.
An interesting and historical place. Nice
i was gona visit megs house lot and the movie theater drive inn is like 4 miles north of me. the cow seen is not far either

They used that hangar for the worldwide release of the C8 Corvette.
I had signed up to watch the livestream, but did not know where they were going to do it.
The night before the Corvette release, Mrs. Gone and I were shopping at the Costco directly across the street from the hangar. A Corvette logo about 100' long was being projected on the side of the hangar with a countdown timer for the next day. There were several security guards and guys with GM logo shirts milling around outside.
It never occured to me that this was where they were going to do the Corvette release until I was watching online, and it finally clicked.
