I figure this would be a no-brainer in rural Texas ... but many trucks that look "old" are actually pretty new and just worn out.
I may have to go into the big city to find an authentic OLD old truck.
Meanwhile ... just to get me up on the board ... breaking in the brand-new Michelins.

Gremlin was my favorite $19 rental car in 1981 ... used it to take my dead Motobecane moped to the shop. Unlike the Pinto and Vega, it had 6 cylinders and some pep. I asked if they were selling it, but it was their best car. Back when you could rent a car at age 19 ...

More than you want to know about the Pacer ... like it was supposed to have a Wankel rotary engine.

I found this 1959 Chevrolet during today’s ride. Located near Middletown, NY.

That vintage of Impala always seems striking to gawk at.

So I went looking for this truck a couple of miles from my house for this month's challenge ... but I guess things with wheels move around quite a bit.

Also, it was taken 5 years ago ... and I'm not sure if my CB was even born yet ...

That's my old 2007 Vespa LX150.
Reliable but like working on a ship in a bottle.
Finally found a college girl to sell it to last year.

Here's the back end of the Dodge ... with the period fins.

Ah ya, of course, Vespa (owned by Piaggio).

Great truck - wouldn't want to use it for any real work.
