Darn! Rode past the famous long set of steps in Georgetown that were in the Exorcist on the way home today. Was even on the CB1100 (which I normally don't use for longer commutes...)

Just to get the ball rolling; this is Bective Abbey in County Meath, about an hour's ride from where I live. It was used as Longshanks' castle in the film Braveheart starring Mel Gibson. It was founded by the Cistercians as a monastery in 1147.

Cool indeed spechg...

Being lazy, I tried to find something within a few minutes of where I live. Only thing that popped out was the Blair Witch Project. Noting particularly recognizable from that unfortunately.

I'll be in Annapolis in a couple of days and should have an a few good photo ops there... Gone's daily commute probably passes a dozen movie spots every day so I'm guessing he'll beat us all to it!
