On this mornings ride I stopped at my local dealer. There was a fellow and his wife from northern, Kentucky there about to test ride a new F6B.

It's either Mo which is my nickname or Suredrive 1 because I run a driving school (it was Suredrive 1 when I looked it up when I got home).

Hey guys, I have a mounting/wiring question on my newly purchased Zumo 660 GPS.

Here's the unit...



Here's the wiring kit that came with it....the problem is it needs to be hard wired to the battery. I don't want to do that...want to make it easily moveable between bikes.



Here's a mounting kit to use for the car...where you can plug it into a cigarette lighter or USB plug, but it can't be mounted to a bike. It's designed for a suction mount on a car windshield.





Here's the unit as you might have seen at the rally...clearly I mounted it with the wires exposed as a temporary measure.



I saw many of your plugs where you had a cigarette lighter and USB plug but I can't find in the Garmin catalog how to mount it and still make it moveable between bikes.

I got the photos backwards amd can't fix....the 3rd photo is the hardware mount...not the 2nd one. The 2nd one goes with the 4th one....

I purchased a new Honda rear rack off eBay and it arrived today. Only problem is the box is destroyed. No hardware present. What do they normally include? I want to know if it is worth pursuing an insurance claim.

Hey guys, is there a way to keep the in handle bar weights and add the crg lane splitter mirrors with the adapter for the 7/8 inch handlebar?

Leaving Groton,CT in a few hrs. to Twisted Throttle in Exeter RI to pick up my '13 with air horn installed. The guys there said they'll mount the compressor left of the oil filter and run a line to the horn mounted where the stock horns are. Sorry no pix as the only electronic device I own is a basic phone. (Use a computer at the local library.) However if anyone is in the area I'm attending the "British by the Sea" meet tomorrow,10AM-3:30PM at Harkness State Park on Great Neck Rd in Waterford,CT. It's advertised as "more than 400 cars,trucks and motorcycles". I last went some years ago and there were only a smattering of bikes,so I can't comment on the number of bikes this year. But the grounds were covered with beautiful old British cars. The event is free. More info call 860 693 4249. Harkness is right on Long Island Sound however no swimming is allowed as there is no lifeguard.I'm planning on being there early and the bike will be in the parking area if anyone wants to check out the horn.

Hi - what is the cable activated valve in the muffler that open and shuts the piece of metal in the end of the muffler

Oil changed, bike washed, waxed, changed to metalmaven's license bracket, and new brake pads today. It's looking like a nice weekend to get out and ride up here.

I don't have a ride report. I'm too lazy to write anything up.

However, I do collect counties. Do any of you all do this?

Some people go as far as to get photographic evidence that they have visited a county. I just make a note of it since I trust myself and I am not trying to prove anything.

I have no idea what caused this. Any advice would be awesome. Can I just wipe it clean and go on riding through the summer? It hasn't gotten worse, but I can't tell what it is.
