Garmin Zumo 660 Mounting options/question

Hey guys, I have a mounting/wiring question on my newly purchased Zumo 660 GPS.

Here's the unit...



Here's the wiring kit that came with it....the problem is it needs to be hard wired to the battery. I don't want to do that...want to make it easily moveable between bikes.



Here's a mounting kit to use for the car...where you can plug it into a cigarette lighter or USB plug, but it can't be mounted to a bike. It's designed for a suction mount on a car windshield.





Here's the unit as you might have seen at the rally...clearly I mounted it with the wires exposed as a temporary measure.



I saw many of your plugs where you had a cigarette lighter and USB plug but I can't find in the Garmin catalog how to mount it and still make it moveable between bikes.

Help!!!

I got the photos backwards amd can't fix....the 3rd photo is the hardware mount...not the 2nd one. The 2nd one goes with the 4th one....
Hopefully you can figure it out.... Thanks for any/all help.

Garmin sells "cigarette lighter" cords and you can pretty easily mount the receptacle on the bike somewhere, hardwired to the battery. Amazon would be a good place to start. There are a zillion configurations. One is bound to work out. I hope so, 'cause I have to get my old Zumo mounted up as well

Could hard wire a USB or cigarette lighter mount and simply plug into that?

OR ...

The ST I hire for the rally had a lighter outlet that just plugged into the battery tender. You have one of those as I recall why not fit up a USB outlet you could plug into that when you need it?
