Received my new OEM Crash Bars today from Hondaline Parts and had them on before the FedEx guy had left the neighborhood (possibly; at least in my mind).
Well pleased with how they look.
Would post pics but after repeated efforts I'm still unable to get the file size down to 250KB.
Technology is not my friend today.

Hi,
Does anyone have a late model BMW boxer 1200 they would mind sharing approximate insurance costs. I am calculating whether I can engineer purchase of one of these or not. Just ballpark is all I am after. I understand all the parameters that make insurance vary, but I figure most of the members here are a good proxy on how I ride/drive and for age and so forth. Just a SWAG is all I am looking for. If I ask my agent she is going to say "not another motorbike" or something like that. I should mention that I am in the U.S.

| Helmet Shield / Visor clear protector film |

I just replaced the Visor or Shield on my HJC helmet. If I remember correctly this is the second time for this particular helmet. The material in these shields is soft and they scratch rather easily, at least mine seem to. Does anyone use any form of clear protector film on their visor/shield? Like the stuff we can put on our phones etc.. It may be hard to find a protector film that is cut to match any particular helmet but using a razor blade to trim a sheet of film seems rather reasonable.

Hi Guys
English winter is creeping up on us and darker nights are here.
Noticed that when I hit high beam it was too high the other night.
There is a thread on here that covers the process but pics are not visible.
Does anyone have pics or manual extract before I start fiddling around with it please?
Many Thanks
Mark T

My other bikes had a section in the under seat manual on how to do this, but the CB does not.
Only done a few hundred miles of the break in period so far but would be interested on how it's done.
Can anyone point me to a thread with pics or an extract from the full service manual.
I am a 2016 CB1100ex if that makes any difference - but I suspect this will be a common process for all models.
I can see the tensioner body and I am guessing you have to remove a cover to set where the crank is before releasing the plunger / removing the assembly.
Thanks for looking guys.
