hi guys can anyone tell me where the obd connector plug is on a 2019rs cheers

Many of you will have fitted Rlet's and although they are on you will have failed Mr Honda's test and fitted them with the unsightly seams showing and struggled to push them over the ball with oil, soap, blood sweat and tears.

Mr Honda presented the Rlet's to you inside out with a dry fitting in mind and left you to ponder and reason on the task ahead of you.
If the seam is to go on the inside what better way than to offer up the Rlet ball to the lever ball and just gently slide ball over ball thus turning the Rlet the correct way with the action and hiding the seam inside.

The small hole in the ball is not needed and is just there to confuse.

The larger lever hole finally still needs to go over the lever ball and Rlet ball together but assist the tightness just turn the lever sleeve inside out before fitting starts ( see piccy)

This way of course may be wrong but the force was showing me the way and has now put doubt in others minds to as to where the seams should be...
Inside or outside the choice is yours but RS owners the seamless fuel tank could be a clue ?

We all hope to live forever and keep riding through our golden years no matter what, but in reality only a few of us will be fortunate enough to achieve that privilege. The rest of us, someday, will come to the sobering conclusion that our best years of motorcycling are behind us and perhaps it’s time to hang up our helmets. Yes, it’s coming.

I truly hope we’re all many years and miles from making that decision, but it’s coming whether we like it or not. For us long time riders, and for those just starting out, what comes next? What are your plans?

I've been looking for stock mirrors to fit my 2013. I'm about ready to spend 100.00 for a clean, used pair on eBay. If anyone has a clean pair to sell for a better price, I'm interested.

Has anyone seen this problem?

It is melted on the inside. Is dished in some on the outside with cracks radiating out from the dished melted area you can see and feel with a fingernail.

My guess is when parked in the sun, light was reflected from the reflector and melted it. Other theories are welcome.

I went for a 135 mile ride today along the Upper Delaware River. Beautiful ride that included the scenic and curvy “Hawks Nest”. On the way home I made a stop at Bethel Woods, the site of the 1969 Woodstock Concerts.


While I was there, a young family arrived and parked next to my CB. The father was checking my bike and then told me he has the same CB. He belongs to our forum as 2stroke420. Nice person, I hope he becomes active in our forum again.

I've seen some posts asking if these two things can be done. I have done both with my 2014 CB1100.

First, I swapped my gas tank for the 2017 tank. The 2017 tank is bigger and looks better. I got the 2017 fuel pump/sending unit as well. Only problem is the fuel gauge reads a little high now. Also, you have to use a second, different key for the gas cap. And yes, it was expensive.

Second, I swapped my original cast wheels for the 2017 spoke wheels. You have to change out the bracket that holds the rear brake caliper as well. There is guy in Japan I worked with on it. He got me the complete package. I think his name was Tashiki. Folks have mentioned him on the forum before. And this was expensive too.

Hi Girls and Boys!

Today was my first long (238 mile) ride after full rotator cuff rebuild last November. In the last month I have done a few short (less than 100 miles) rides to see how I felt. The bike was patient waiting those long months for me and performed flawlessly without complaint. The ride consisted of 2 and 4 lane minor highways, back road twisties and a short bit of major freeway riding. Here in Northern California the weather was just a bit cool with quite a bit of wind. 40 miles from home on the way back, a few unforecasted sprinkles materialized, turning into full on showers for the last 20 miles in very heavy, very slow traffic. I'm thankful that lane splitting is legal here to keep me from getting completely soaked. But all in all, a happy 5 hour day! Finally a little rain to help with the drought, but not near enough.
