I need assistance on best way to polish Crankcase/Stator case on my CB 1100.

I thought I would start this thread to see what comes out of the woodwork.

My common "most annoying" thing I do is get fully togged up, headscarf, helmet, glasses on, GoPro plugged in and set up (if I am using it), gloves with inner liners on, key in the ignition, jacket done up, Sat Nav loaded with the destination, everything done, everthing, ready to roll and then Aaaarrrgggghhhh, no bloody ear plugs fitted!

Sometimes I have the mind of a Goldfish and it drives me nuts, especially on a hot day where you just want to get moving and get a bit of a breeze on.

There is gorgeous places in the U.S., which no site in Europe can match (please, my fellow Europeans, don't scream )

But you have to do what you can, so my yellow bumble bee was desperate to cross the mountains and drive into the Veneto, the country around Venice. Boy, it was a nice trip last weekend. To my big surprise, the Italian motorways were super easy (you have to pay for it in Italy, which keeps the trucks and many tail gators off). The secondary roads were each one in good shape, with lots of leans and bends, and hardly any traffic. Each little village seemed worth a stop for a true cappuccino or some other good stuff.

I'm thinking it might be a decent taint saver for the price.

I have recently had a slight loss of oil on both sides, only behind.
Do I have to open the valve cover or can I do something else?

Needed a bit more noise on my 2014, and found Delkevic (Colorado) exhaust systems on line. Got their 9" Carbon Fiber Oval slip on kit. Literally took 15 minutes (and I was going slow) to remove the stock muffler and install this kit. The kit had/has everything you need. the end result if definitely louder, but not too much as I left the baffle in. You can get longer or shorter mufflers from Delkevic. For around $280 I think this is a very cost effective solution to better exhaust performance. They said no tuning is required, but I think a re-mapping wouldn't hurt.

Has anyone on this forum done a dyno run with and without Aero muffler slip ons?
Also dyno runs with a K&n filter. My bike came with Aero muffters and I'de like to know if I am gaining anything and weather I should go ahead and put the K&n filter on for less restriction on both ends. If they screw up my A/F mixture the I'll do the PC v with auto tune. Anybody have proof of these mods?

No doubt, different tires (brands and models) must be different. But since the lifetime of any tire must depend on how much tread there is to begin with ... what is the depth of tread on a new tire ... typically ? front and/or read wheel ?

I forgot to measure my Dunlops when they were new, and now it's too late.

Hi, I'm having a serious issue with my 2015 A CB1100, the bike won't start unless you sit on it, once started and you climb off the engine dies, both oil warning lights come on and stay on until you sit on it, the lights go out and it will start, but when riding it cuts out probably due to weight issue on the moving bike! Please, please help!
