I'd bet dollars to donuts that it's the same bike that was on ADVRIDER in late February (subtle items are the same).

Sad, because I was too far away to look at it in person in Feb and didn't realize how few and far between these seem to be. Also sad because even with the modifications the owner made, if it is the same bike, it's not enough to to make it a keeper for them.

I noticed that my right OEM mirror got loose inside the case.
The mirror itself rotates while riding and makes vibration noise.

I cannot figure out how to fix it back. Do you have any ideas?

Being a larger guy 260# Im finding after about 45min of riding I start feeling like Im sitting on 2 x 12 plank LOL ! Finding 100s of aftermarket cushions for sale but would like to hear some proven results from those that found something that actually works !

I've had a few pairs of the demons. Great when new but don't last long. I know nothing lasts. Thinking about giving the Battle Ax a try. Who's had both and which was the better all around buy? Thanks.

I started noticing real vision trouble last year. On long rides toward the end of the day with the sun low, I started seeing double pretty often. Thought I'd have to give up riding. This only happens on my bike and it doesn't always happen. Why not, I cannot say. I was very relieved recently when it started happening again and I noticed it's not all my aging's fault. I happen to block the bottom part of my glasses (the seeing near part) while making adjustments and things cleared up 100%. I tried blocking my lower view with my hand over the screen on my helmet and that worked too. I was initially skeptical about progressives. I can read pretty well without any glasses. I did not want progressive sunglasses but the eye man talked me into it. Now I'm looking to try a pair of glasses with just my main distance prescription for riding.

Anyone else have a similar experience and solution?

anyone have installed one read that wiring needed to be spliced? weird the other healers i have installed where plug and play anyone have pictures of a install ??

I've done a few mods to my 2014 since buying it and figured I would go through them and list the prices as well as my experience with them and if id recommend it, if you've already done these mods, you're unlikely to take much away from this but if you are on the fence then I hope this helps.

Delkevic full exhaust system:

Cost:

Where to buy:
Ebay, Delkevic sells exhausts on ebay so it is reputable, not 3rd party.

Options:
Round of oval muffler (I believe the offer carbon fiber mufflers too). I opted for the round stainless.

Installation experience:
The most difficult part was getting the o2 sensor out of the oem pipe. Honda decided to place the o2 sensor in the worse possible place as far as ease of access and I ended up cutting the metal around the 02 sensor to get a wrench on it. Note that doing so does NOT cut into the actual exhaust pipe and this damage is not visible if the pipe is on the bike. as far as installation itself goes it went very smoothly. The pipes were labeled 1-4 so no guess work required, the 4-1 section in also label 1-4 so you know which pipe goes where. whole process took me 2 hours of actual working time but someone more competent could likely do it in less time.

End result:
Bike sounds very nice, not obnoxiously loud (to me anyways) but not too quiet either. Gives it a nice deep tone that will turn heads and makes the whole riding experience much more enjoyable in my opinion.

Final Verdict:
Highly recommend, for the price point you get a ton of value and a great quality product.

42 tooth Supersprox rear sprocket:

Parts unlimited, your local dealership likely uses them as a supplier so you may be able to get it there too.

Options:
you can go up to a 50 tooth if you want but I opted for the 42 tooth.

Installation experience:
I had our shop install it while it was in for a valve clearance check, but it is just a sprocket so not much involved.

End result:
The overall difference is 5% (5% more torque sacrificing 5% top speed), more accurately it doesn't gain you torque it just gives the results of such. It makes wheelies easier and makes the bike noticeably quicker off the line, seeing as these bikes are speed limited well below their actual capabilities the sacrifice in top speed is unnoticeable.

Final Verdict:
Highly recommend, relatively inexpensive way to make these bikes quicker.

Options: not many tire options with these bikes but the battleaxes seem to be the best I've found.

Instillation experience:
had both tires installed at our shop, its not too complicated if you do it yourself though just tedious.

End Result: improved mt riding experience exponentially. Bike launches off the line way better with much less wheel spin, wheelies much better with less wheel spin, and cornering feels much much more stable and predictable. All around improvement.

Final Verdict:
Hands down one of the best mods you can do to one of these bikes as far as performance goes all around. Highly recommend, never going back to 140.

Yesterday I hit the 8k milestone on the 1100 on the way to class. I bought the bike in December used with around 3k (I believe 3100 give or take 50). Not as high milage as my 17 crf250l with 38.5k but in fairness I have had that bike since new.

Overall had a good riding day yesterday, great weather and thanks to light traffic I was able to cruise at 100 or so for a decent while. Got to the point where scraping peg happens pretty regularly and I'm getting very comfortable with it in the corners. Only mods I've done to it are the Delkevic full system, 42 tooth rear sprocket, and going up to a 160 on the rear. the combination of which has made this bike an amazing riding experience thus far. The wider rear tire helps with launching the bike from a dig and inspires more confidence in the corners, the slightly lower gearing helps with the stoplight races and makes wheelies a bit easier, and the exhaust makes the bike sound awesome which does wonders for the whole experience.

I will likely go into more detail on those mods, the cost, experience with them etc. in another thread where it is more relevant to do so. I will likely also be posting some photos and videos of my rides at some point both here and on youtube for those interested.
