| My red tank |

Well I sold my red tank to Jurlie to replace the one that his friend damaged in the accident.
I shipped it out today fully insured and I just hope that USPS doesn't drop a truck on it, otherwise it should arrive unscathed.
It's ironic that it's going back to (within 40 miles) where it came from. I almost wish the accident had happened last year so that would didn't need to deal with shipping it.
It's a nice tank and I hope that he's happy with it when it arrives.
Bonus it comes with some Japanese newspaper from Mr. Takashi from when I purchased my tank from him.

Hi all, tried a few searches but no luck...bought a '16 CB1100A and the owners manual is MIA. Tried Ebay, etc, but no luck there either, any suggestions where I could acquire an actual owners manual or at least a .pdf ?
Thanks, Jim

Well, I really think about getting an R18: [url=https://www.autoscout24.de/angebote/bmw-r-18-werksgarantie-03-2024-benzin-schwarz-1e265f9e-d7c5-4a60-97f7-db17a852c93e?sort=standard&desc=0&lastSeenGuidPresent=true&cldtidx=2&position=2&search_id=bu3pv8ftco&source_otp=t10&source=listpage_search-results&order_bucket=unknown]see this page for pictures
Will have a test ride next week. I'm a little concerned about riding position and cornering clearance.
Never have ridden a cruiser so far.

Just an FYI for forum members: The topic of motorcycle lifts has been discussed on this forum previously. I am posting this notice to let you know that Harbor Freight has a $100.00 discount "Super Coupon" for their 1,000 lb motorcycle lift; discounted price is $499.99. I would get this myself, but I do not have room to store it.

| Clutch Not Working |

For the first time since I got the CB1100 EX in 2014 I have a problem with it, and I wanted to check here in case somebody has experienced something similar.
The other week as I was bringing the bike out for the first ride this spring (the salt has finally washed away from the roads and the sun was shining). Everything looked perfect, but as I pressed the clutch before starting the bike I thought the clutch felt very light. My first impression was that the Honda's clutch is just lighter than my Triumph Scrambler that I have been riding through winter.
I hit the starter and the engine, as is customary, immediately sprung to life. It felt great to hear that 4-in-line rumble again, and I just let it warm up a little bit. However, when I pressed the clutch and put it in first, it lurched forward and stalled. The clutch, it turns out, is not working at all!
So yes, the clutch feels extremely light, like there is really no resistance at all.
I have checked the hydraulic fluid container, and everything there looks fine, with the level just right and the fluid still nice and clean. So the question then is, what could cause this problem, and what would be a possible solution?
If I am not able to resolve it myself, I will have it brought to a Honda mechanic in a week or so to get things sorted so that I can get it back on the road.
