| Feeling Buzzy |

So I took my 2013 CB into the shop to get new tires. Getting it back and driving it these past five days I think I noticed that it has been a bit “buzzy”. When I am doing 70mph in 5th is when I noticed it, it goes away when I pull in the clutch. So I don’t think it has anything to do with the new tires, but could I just be noticing the difference between my bike and the 2019 Goldwing I had as a loaner?
Thoughts?

Hi all, So I removed the "slip on" stock muffler as I'm cleaning everything up.
So I start the bike up without the muffler, OMG! sounds amazing, not too too loud, Ive ridden it around the sub division (30 mph) sounds awesome...
I think its not crazy crazy loud because of the cat within the collector box, has anyone actually tried to long drill it or try punch it through?
I ask, because I'm looking at buying a full system Delvic or similar name.
If I can knock a hole through it, I'll just buy a slip on rather than the whole system...
Looking at options,,,, THX guys...

| Hepco and Becker rack |

After contacting Ventura to see if their rack would fit on the 17 model I found out that the new frame is different and Ventura hadn't gotten around to making an updated model. Maybe something to do with Honda not importing the 2017 EX to our Southern Pacific Island brothers?? A bit of a bummer since all of my Ventura racks are now gathering dust.
Anyway I decided to go with the Hepco and Becker Alurack which would allow for a top box to be easily fitted in addition to be used as a regular tie-down point.
I ordered it from Moto Machines last Friday and it showed up on Sat. (regular USPS) how is that for quick service!
Fitment was easy and one advantage to the H&B design that I had not read about in reviews is that the rack can be moved fore and aft between 1-2 inches.
My wife did a quick tryout of the hand holds last night and told me that the outright was hitting her in her butt. Today in about 10 minutes I loosed it up and moved in back.
Nice design on the Germans part!

Just some observation, I notice riders who stop riding when they age, their health will deteriorate faster than a rider who keep riding. And if a rider have some health problem and stop riding, the health issue will also deteriorate faster. But I believe there's a limits on what constitute a safe riding and what condition are consider dangerous to rider as well as others on the road. Would really like to hear some opinion from rider here.
The reason i brought this up is that I am a SVT (abnormal high heart rate) sufferer. And recent months the condition happen so frequent and severe I thought of selling off my bikes and stop riding. But as addictive as riding goes, I still can't let go of my bike. If there's other SVT sufferer here as well, would appreciate you could share some thoughts.
Been in and out of hospital and there's currently no conclusive prognosis.

Need your help on this one. Replaced front tires and something is wrong.
According to the shop manual the collards are the same exact measurement length wise. Parts manual tell me there are two different sizes. Can someone take a picture of your front end to see if it looks like mine. I need to see the collards #4 and #3 on the diagram Left and Right side please.

So I got new Metzler tires on my 2013 CB1100/A. Well, my plan was to book an early appointment at my local Honda Dealership. So that is what I did, and went it arriving early. This place is on my way to work. So new tires and then off to work. That was the plan.
I get to the dealer, after a short wait they tell me their mechanic is running late. They can’t guarantee when the bike would be done. The ask if I want a loaner. They offer me a 2019 Gold Wing, but I was concerned that it would be too wide for lane splitting. They then offer me a CTX 700. I was like, yeah cool I will try that bike. I thought the CTX felt really low for traffic. I was almost seated at the same height of an average car. I was impressed with how quickly it got to 70+. My CB starts to make a little fuss at 80. The CTX wanted more. Overall the CTX was ok, mostly boring.
The second day I went back in the morning to get my bike and return the CTX. Well, the bike wasn’t done because their tire machine was busted. They would need it another day.
I asked them if I could have the Gold Wing. They were like sure! The Gold Wing was really a dream to ride. The only thing I didn’t care for, the heat from the motor in Los Angeles traffic, even when splitting lanes, started to cook me. If I had this bike it would be my winter ride.
The next day my bike was ready. I turned in the Gold Wing and headed off to work on my CB. Let me end by saying that I was so happy to be back on my CB. I love this bike. Also shout out to Honda Motorcycle in Carson. Even though it was a bit of a drag not having my bike, I still appreciated the loaners!
