The Africa Twin is a delight to ride. I love the sudden jerk of power you get on a good twin when you shift up (2nd to 3rd, say), and there was plenty of it in the AT. I found myself going way faster than I thought many times today. But it is playful, too, and corners beautifully. I felt more confident going hard into familiar corners than I do on my CB1100, after just minutes on it. It's great!
But I hate that I can't plant my feet properly on the ground (I have short legs). Backing it up was almost impossible. The screen also caused turbulence in any position, and I would get a stiff neck and tinnitus from a long ride.
Getting back on the CB1100 it felt kind of stiff and heavy, but it didn't take long to rekindle the passion. I do NOT miss all the bells and whistles, nor all the plastic on the Africa Twin, but I wouldn't mind ten or twenty more hp, tbh.
Fun day, always great to get to try new bikes.

Does anyone know if the standard 2013-16 4 into 1 will fit on a 2019 bike Im despiratly trying to find a 4 into 1 for my EX but coming up with either £1300 or nothing so was thinking of getting an older system then updating the end can with something nice

Just bought one off of Ebay and have a 2013 standard. Didnt notice seller put fitment is for only 2014 deluxe in his ad. Corbin site makes no distinction so I bid and bought it.

As a father, I am truly blessed. My son has been creating awesome Father's Day gifts for me for most of his life (ever since he could hold a crayon). This year he really surprised me. This year's gift is going to require just a little bit of setup as I first need to introduce you all to our dogs, Bodhi (left) and Una (right):

Today I pulled another photo from the archives. This one is of me and my Dad, taken sometime in the late 1960's. He is definitely missed and I think of him often, especially on Father's Day. Fathers don't come any better. I'll always be grateful to him for all that he provided me with in life — most of all his love. Love you back Dad.

I am thrilled to say that my 14 year old daughter, my only child, took her first ride on the back of my Gold Wing this afternoon as part of our Father's Day celebration, and she LOVED it. We just did a few loops around a nearby school parking lot while she had a bicycle helmet on. She was grinning from ear to ear.

I'd like to get her a helmet, and possibly gloves and a jacket, so I can continue to introduce her to my beloved sport and enjoy some memorable moments together as father and daughter.

I wear a Schuberth Pro 2 helmet and will be looking for a high quality full face or flip up helmet for her. There are a few dealerships near by with great gear to make sure it fits.

Any advice on what gear to get, how to make shopping for it fun for her, and advice in general on introducing riding to your teenager as a passenger? Thanks!

Anyone considered setting up helmet brake lights?

The [url=https://thirdeyedesigninc.com/]Inview option seems to be a well thought of design. Expensive though - and you'd have to tap to multiple wires below the seat. The kit does seem to come with all the connectors. Not sure if we can use positaps below our seat.

Wondering, whether the cheap ones are a good starting point - but then again tapping into wires with cheap electronics may be a recipe for disaster. Before I make another frivolous purchase, someone discourage me...
