Has anyone installed the chromed meter buckets and headlight bucket available from Honda?

Does anybody honestly believe that there is NOT going to be a 2014 year model CB1100 ?

I didn't know this was possible, hope this helps out those interested in ordering from japan through samurider or anyone else.

I placed an order with my local dealer a while ago but it's still back ordered. A couple weeks ago I was told it would ship from Honda on the 15th. Now they are telling me the 26th. I wouldn't be surprised if that date slips. I'm going on a trip in August and really need to get my bike setup before then. Anyone know of any dealers or online merchants that might have one in stock?

I noticed I really have to squeeze to get the break light on, I guess because the breaks are so awesome and bite so hard on this I barely have to squeeze the lever, my buddy thought I burnt out my bulb.

I think the sensor needs to be adjusted, one thing I'm really paranoid about is making sure I have REALLY bright break lights and I definitely don't want any delay in the time I start to squeeze till it lights up, even a fraction of a second can be crucial.

I just installed the Honda luggage rack. Any suggestions on a good top box
or bag that will fit it? As you know it's long and narrow so the extra bag or two I have for my Harley won't fit... too wide. Guvi shows a fiberglass box, but a molded bag like Kawasaki offers for the KLR would be terrific...

I am not familiar with Honda's new model year release dates. Does anyone know when we can expect to hear Honda's plans for the 2014 CB1100? Maybe we will have additional color choices, eh?

I though there was going to be some exclucivity in owning one of these.lol...got in from dinner, sitting in the hotel room, look out the window and there is another CB 1100 in the lot here in Maggie Valley. this one is on a trailer with an FJR. I go out to see who it is, and its a fellow named Mike and his son from Alabama. Mike has been on the forum, maybe registered as BravoMike. Nice guy.Came down to ride the Dragon, Cherahola Skyway, BRP etc.

Hes thinking about selling the CB as his sons going into the service, so maybe a like new CB will show up in the classifieds.
