Put simply, after a good 20 miles or so at 55 to 60 mph, my testes are as numb as Hayden Christensen in the new Star Wars movies. My old CB750 caused the same issue, and the seat was much softer on that than the new CB1100. I'm thinking that the 919 would have the same problem, except for the nice forward lean. Any ideas to counteract the numbness? Am I the only one whose manhood feels like its iced down after a ride?

Changed my bar end mirrors. I like these new ones much better. The can fold in which is nice




Also, I decided to throw a 6000K HID kit in.


It's way brighter. Gonna be great at night.

Enjoy the ride as I did on Friday the 19th of July. Notice the revs are not very high. The CB doesn't need you to row the gears to get good performance.

Does anyone know if the Fiamm Freeway Blaster Horns can be hooked up without any relay? I hope I can just take the stock horns off and put these on.

Here (hopefully) are 3 pictures of my 1979 CBX! I have recently put some Ohlins piggyback shocks on; these are fabulous. My goal is to put similar shocks on my CB1100.

wanted to share info on the bar on my bike (per Paul's request), and results of honda metal polish on the headers..

heres the SW Motech crash bar for the CB1100 I am so far happy with them, they are very inconspicuous and blend in to the frame:-

I tried the cheap honda metal polish that comes in the tubes(I bought at the Honda dealer) with a couple metal polishing rags from autozone. I must say the polish dint even scratch the headers a bit (I kept the rag moist with the polish while rubbing and was careful not to use much force) and then wiped clear with another polishing rag.
These were the tools:-

and this is how the output looked like without much effort.(ps: Icouldnt get to all areas with my xl hands ) but tried to run the rag around and did some see saw action which worked pretty ok I guess:-

Just a thought. F4 inner fork tubes are 41mm 5.1 inches of travel with rebound adjustment. With a spring upgrade they might be just the thing for an inexpensive suspension mod.

Lot of these in the breaker yards, ebay & craigs list.

Bonneville guys have been using the inner fork tubes from the F3 to do this.
