at least I think it's good
Went into my favorite acc shop where I get 99% of my acc and 100% of my tires ... Sporttour in Cinti Ohio (they do mostly internet sales but have a nice shop on the skirts of Cinti) That's wear I bought my tourmaster stuff and my National Cycle shield and they are big Givi and Saddleman seat dealers
http://www.sporttour.com/
Anyhow, while there I asked Ray about replacement Bridgestone BT 54's for the CB 1100..
They quoted me $111 for the front and $139 for the rear, but they won't be available until sometime in December
Just thought I'd pass on the info

hey friends,
So i was away from my bike for a week. the tank was close to empty and when i was riding it yesterday i noticed a knocking sound coming from my front wheel area.
After inspecting, everything seemed tight, though when am riding the bike at a slow speed i can hear this and am a bit concerned.
its probably a bolt not completely tightened (have to check that this afternoon)
not sure if you all have any suggestions.
figured, id toss this out there.
thanks in advance!

Just returned from a 150mi ride this morning. Not an iron butt run but enough for a good review.
Workmanship:
Seat is perfectly balanced and the vinyl and seams is much better than stock. The look of the seat is much richer. Its on the original seat pan so no issues with fit. After discussion with Seth I decided to go with vinyl because i use a tunnel bag which would show less wear than leather. Under his recommendation i also went with seams on top instead of smooth which gives a bit more. I like the looks of the seat more than my stock seat. If you didn't know the bike you would think it came with a great looking seat. Please feel free to be honest with your opinion.
Comfort:
Amazing!! I felt the same after the ride as i did before i left. Usually about 50-70 miles in I'm feeling discomfort. Don't understand why Honda doesn't put concave seats on touring bikes. Its firmer than stock but not as hard as a Corbin. Bumps are encouraged, in plants you deeper into the pocket.
Edit: the cost was $ 284.00
What more can i say the guy knows how to make a seat comfortable.

Got it onTuesday... a serious PITA to get latched on the first two times, but so much better, for me, than the stock. I am not a small fellow (5' 11" and 260) but it is even before breaking in a much better ride to work.
Glad I bought it AND it only took 3 weeks from order to delivery.

| Phoenix, AZ Metro area - Dealer Experiences |

Starting this thread as I've seen a few comments in the welcome section on various dealer experiences in the Phoenix, AZ area.
Please share your experiences with the dealerships you've purchased from in the Phx Metro area.
I've heard mixed reviews on Western Honda. There are several reviews on Yelp which describe horrible service experiences. Reviews of no sales people being available to answer questions. But then there are great reviews of a few of the sales guys and people getting great prices, and people traveling from out of state to buy from there. So I'm not sure what to think.
When I went there in Aug, I had to wait to talk to one sales guy. But overall their showroom is uninviting and most of the bikes have signs that say don't sit on them. Or if they do, they are packed so close together you can't sit on them.
I didn't care for the sales experience at Ridenow Chandler for my recent scooter purchase. I was thinking this may be the place to purchase my CB1100 from of the prices are great. But I was hoping to find a place with both sales and service that would keep me happy as long as I own the bike.
