I have a 1983 CB1000c and I am modifying my bike to fit the seat from the 2013. Could one of you PLEASE post a few pics of the brackets on your bikes?
I want to see how I can fashion some of my own or purchase stock brackets and find a way to make them work.
Please and thanks.

Was wondering what you guys thought of your CB1100; I don't currently own one. I have a 2003 ST1300 and a 2011 CB1000R. I am trying to decide if I want to trade the ST in on a CB1100. I have enjoyed the ST (60K miles), but I don't ride it too much anymore. And compared to the CB1000R, it feels big and heavy. The only thing I am concerned about is long distance travel on the 1100. I assume I can put a rack on the back, saddlebags on the side and a windshield on it when I want to tour. What are your experiences with long distance rides? My longest ride on the ST was 830 miles from Durango, Colorado to home in Fort Worth, Texas. I once rode 1200 miles from Fort Worth to El Paso and back in a day. But that was on a Honda Shadow 1100. I figure the CB1100 couldn't be any more difficult to travel on than the Shadow.

I just returned from my dealer after the 2nd failed attempt to get a rack onto my Deluxe (!).
Attempt #1 failed because the '13 rack (that was on my '13) does not fit the '14 Deluxe.
So the dealer ordered the Honda rack listed for the '14.
Attempt #2 failed because the rack listed for the '14 does NOT fit (we double checked all the part numbers)...
They are getting in touch with Honda about it...

Has anyone purchased or seen these emblems. I believe I've seen them on here somewhere. I just ordered matte black side covers to match my exhaust and was looking for these. I found this pic on ebay, but the auction ended some time ago.

A very short time indeed after I bought the CB1100, and before I joined this estimable forum, I travelled south to go on a ride to raise money for children with Downs Syndrome. My day was about 600kms following [url=https://maps.google.com.au/maps/ms?msid=201247423130042081552.0004f97bfcc01cdd62fe5&msa=0]this route. The route of the organised ride is [url=https://maps.google.com.au/maps/ms?msid=201247423130042081552.0004f97c0a982dfa8820b&msa=0]here.
Clearly, as I hadn't joined the forum, I hadn't learned the Ferret's trick with one handed photography, but here's a photo of the CB at the start of the ride,
The organisers have just sent out a video (actually, it's mostly stills) of the day which can be seen here.
