Has anyone modified their front forks by installing Ricor Intiminators? I tried them years ago in my 2003 Triumph Centennial Edition (basically the forerunner of the T100.) They didn't work as well as I'd expected.
Not even certain if Ricor makes Intiminators that work with our forks.
Anyone have any experience with these devices?

I'm taking a course on advanced handling in a few weeks. It's the Lee Parks total control level 1. Part of the course involves trail braking. Does the combined braking on the cb reduce the effectiveness of trail braking? Has anyone else taken this course?

In the tinks how to he takes the forks off to replace the springs. Is that mandatory? I'm not finding any other reliable information online.
On a heavily related note, is the shop manual a good buy? I see it's 70$ on Helm. Cheap if it's useful, expensive if it's useless.

Back in Post 171 of this thread, I reported my first significant ride to a bridge. On my way home, I slid off of the road damaging my CB11. Fast forward to almost a month later, I waited for over 20 days for my local Honda dealer to send my insurance company a repair estimate. Then several days later (today), my insurance company totaled my CB!!! The big items were a new instrument cluster, head light, handlebars with every attached to its right side, fuel tank, muffler, and a lot of scratched up parts. Estimate = $5.7K. The bike is not that bad!
I pleaded with my insurance company to drop items, like the muffler, to reduce the repairs below the total loss threshold. I was told it was too late.
Unfortunately, what my insurance company is paying is well below my loan balance. I am weighing my options over the next couple of days.
Now to the thread theme, here is a picture of my CB "gathered" with broken bikes, trade-in's etc. behind my Honda dealer's building. Sorry I cheated, I did not ride my CB there for the picture. The CB has only 204 miles on the odo.

Farewell to my CB1100, VIN 100998, that was meant for me (my Postal Zip Code 10998).

Looking over my new bike and I see what looks like an ABS ring on the back wheel or is that the speedo sensor I just saw in a thread about someone's speedo and odo not working after a gauge swap?
It's not a Deluxe.

Does anybody know how to read/find codes for reading the check engine light. My bike has been starting hard lately and this morning it bucked and the check engine light came on and stayed on all the way to work. I have replaced the spark plugs, battery, checked/cleaned the air filter, oil is fine. Bike has 6300 miles . Rode daily. Mostly highway. No mods to drive train. I did open up the stock muffler. I had also bought a next to new muffler and put it on 6 mo's ago. My 09 Harley FXDL did the same thing and it was the crank position sensor.
Any clues?
