I have been anxiously waiting for the 2017 fiche to drop for the CB1100 so I can get a gander at that headlight assembly, but as of yet....no dice.
All of the other new 2017 models have gone live from what I can see, but not the CB.....grrrr.

Hoping someone has the answer at hand, and apologies if it's already been covered (I searched) but does anyone know what size mounting bolts the front turn signal mounting holes will accept? I seem to recall that for at least one member, the holes were too small for the aftermarket signals that he purchased and thus, he had to drill.
Thanks in advance!

I'm a bit interested in what constitutes character in a motorcycle.
The Ferret has described it as follows:
Do you agree that character is a euphemism for unreliability? Or is it something more? For example, Moto Guzzi and Ducati are often called character bikes. Is it because they don't copy the design of more traditional British, American and Japanese bikes? Is it that they are Italian and there's a particular view of Italian design and build?
Is it that they are things many aspire to but can't have and so they mask their envy with a certain disparagement?
I've no idea, really, but I'm interested in what you might think.

Visited my local Indian dealer today just to browse. There was a black Springfield on the floor that really appealed to me. Sitting in the saddle, everything fell to hand, saddle felt good and the roomy floorboards were just right. It lifted easily off it's side stand, easier than my ST1300 as I remember. Standing back and imagining it without it's cruiser getup, it had the look of a large standard. The tires were of a size that seemed to fit the mission. Oh my, never thought I would like a cruiser this much. Only the price keeps me at bay, about $21000. I think I need a test ride.
