New owner of a 2017 CB1100 EX, does anyone know where to get a Ryujin fender eliminator? I already contacted samurider and they are not carrying it.

I was tinkering around with my bike yesterday and made a problem for myself. After removing the seat and then the rear fender to plot out a fender eliminator, I put the bike back together, but must not have correctly reconnected the seat lock to the unlocking mechanism. So basically, my seat is locked, but the lever behind the helmet lock is hooked up to nothing, so I can't unlock it to get the seat out. Any thoughts on how to get the seat out so I can reconnect it?

Earlier this year I went down to Brookhaven Honda at Brookhaven MS, to pick up a 2017 model. The previous owner hasn't ridden much, had around 1200 miles. Came with a bunch of accessories:

National Street Shied EX tinted windshield
Chrome Honda engine guard
Highway pegs all bolted in.
New Corbin Gunfighter and Lady Saddle
Corbin Ovalbac Standard Backrest
Crampbuster etc..

The dealership had the stock seat as well.

Believe it or not, it was mine and this bike's second trackday. Well I was slow despite thinking there's nothing more I could do, just like any noob. I got a second faster over the first day, which is still quite slower that most of the novice group. There are better tools for the job, but I had a blast, learned a lot about my riding and about the limits of the bike and how to play around them.

Scraped footpegs. Means I should have leaned my body more rather than the bike.

Also of course, it was the first day of rain since june. Happy to see some water fall on our plants but c'mon just give me that day.

Hello dear friends,
I bought a 2014 HONDA CB1100SA a few days ago. I still have a MOTO GUZZI V9 Roamer 850 and I do not intend to sell it at this time. For those who do not know this bike, it is similar in style to the HONDA CB1100.

The foot controls - the shift and brake levers are moved a bit forward compared to the Honda and that is where my problem is, as I cannot easy get used to the Honda controls.

Is it possible to move the Honda foot levers forward a bit?
With MOTO GUZZI, there is an option to additionally purchase it. Is there anything similar for Honda?

Has anyone else had challenges getting OEM parts for their bike lately? I have experienced difficulties never seen before getting OEM parts for my Hondas. Most recently, I ordered a front and rear sprocket for my 2014 CB1100 Deluxe, and was told that there weren't any available in any of the American Honda warehouses. The dealer told me that the expected date of delivery to the warehouse in California is August 21, but no promises. I have had similar experiences purchasing brake pads, and fuel injector o-rings. One reputable on-line retailer (that I will not state the name of) took my order for 2002 Honda VFR800 brake pads, then contacted me three weeks later and told me they were not available. Luckily, I was able to purchase these pads from another on-line distributor. I placed another order for brake pads for a different bike, my 1998 VFR800, with the same distributor that told me that brake pads for my 2002 VFR800 were not available (I went back to this distributor because they had the best prices for OEM parts). After waiting for four weeks my order was mysteriously cancelled, and my credit card was refunded. When I contacted this distributor by phone I was told that if they do not receive the parts from the supplier in thirty days the order is automatically cancelled because they assume the part is no longer available. When I went back to this distributor's website and looked up the exact same brake pads that I had ordered for both of these bikes I discovered that the prices had gone up significantly for both of them, but no mention that they were no longer available. I am just curious if anyone else has experienced similar supply chain issues.

Managed to blag some cheap tickets to a pretty local hill climb and classic car show near me.
Sadly to my surprise there where NO motorcycle classes running in the hill climb and even less motorcycles on display!
I couldn't get near enough to the hill climb to take any decent pics so you'll have to put up with my attempts to snap a few pics for your perusual..

It's a lovely little thing, all aluminium weighs 2400lbs (1100kg) with a 1.8 ltr four pot turbo 300hp motor. The power to weight is superb, hand built in France, she tells me it achieves 45mpg UK under normal running!
