SHIFT AND BRAKE FOOT LEVERS - omnimj_imp - 08-16-2022

Hello dear friends,
I bought a 2014 HONDA CB1100SA a few days ago. I still have a MOTO GUZZI V9 Roamer 850 and I do not intend to sell it at this time. For those who do not know this bike, it is similar in style to the HONDA CB1100.

The foot controls - the shift and brake levers are moved a bit forward compared to the Honda and that is where my problem is, as I cannot easy get used to the Honda controls.

Is it possible to move the Honda foot levers forward a bit?
With MOTO GUZZI, there is an option to additionally purchase it. Is there anything similar for Honda?

I can't recall ever seeing a kit to move the controls forward.

I'm looking for something like this. Please check the following link.

I've also considered something as my mid 60 year old legs do not want to bend back like someone in their mid 20's. Most of the sets I've seen put the pegs BACK, but this site would be one to check for moving controls forward.

I've purchased slip ons and a Road Comet Fairing from them.

My guess is that it would be $$$, but especially if you plan to long distance tour (as I do), it would be WAY (32" inseam) more comfortable. Anyone else?

Like Lord Popgun, I’ve not heard of anyone doing this. However, I’d suggest an email to contact@samurider.com, our forum sponsor. If such a kit exits, Mr T is likely to know about it.

OK, will do. Thanks!

Stay tuned as Im working on a fix ! Just bought a 2013 and my 70 year old legs dont bend like they should......I have already done the right side and plan on working up the left side this weekend with the storm coming thru the east.....the right side was easy as I discovered I could "heel" the brake pedal without it being moved ! The shifter on the left has to be reconfigured of course

Hi omni, did you consider solving the problem "from the top" ? If you lean the handle bar as much backwards as you can (or install a new, longer one), and sit as far back as one reasonably can, then your knees will already feel much better - my guess.

I know I am probably in the minority here, but I sure would like to have a heal/toe shifter for my CB1100. I got spoiled with those shifters years ago.

Someone else was interested in one IIRC, but I can’t remember who or when or whether they solved it.
