As the title suggest, is there a way to convert the rear turn signals to running lights? I know th laws read that you cant have rear amber running lights. But i found a kit on twisted throttle that has led bulbs that have both the amber for turn signals but red rfor running and brake lights.

I finally made it past 1000 miles yesterday and to celebrate I took the bike up to 100 mph on I 64 West, it ran as smooth as it does at 70, with a little more wind ha ha.

Since reading the Honda pdf about storing for the winter and not using a sheet or tarp to cover your motorcycle, I ended up with below breathable synthetic cover, any others have a favorite?

Looking for ideas or recommendations for a tank bra or large protector. Also what is a good spray or protectant for the black engine ? Used to use Armor ALL on my CBX engines

Took 2 hours to find some curves in Florida. I'm definitely no Rossi nor trying to break any lap times but it was a fun little stretch of road and you can hear the Staintune in the background. Of course, as soon as I set off I got stuck behind a really slow suv, so please pardon the quick cut around the minute mark.

Also, I did a terrible job of avoiding the sand in the middle of the road at 1:36. Scared me when the front end got just a touch of wobble as I went over it.

So I realized that my rear wheel has the smaller ABS Disc on it. My CB is supposed to be the non-ABS version. Any input?

I was just wondering, if anyone doesn't mind, if you'd like to share how much you paid for your CB, and if you know how well they've sold in your area. When they first arrived here in the Kansas City area back around April they were listed at $9999 for the standard model. (I don't know of any dealer ever having an ABS model). Some were purchased before they even got out of the crate. Now the dealers all seem to have at least one on the floor. The dealer I got mine from had it marked down to $8995 but by they time they added freight, dealer prep, and doc fees it came to $9660. Makes me wonder if they added all that to try and get as close to $9999 as they could for it. I don't remember new bikes I bought in the past having anything added on except the doc fee. I always thought the freight and prep was already included in the price, unlike with buying a car. I pulled out the papers on my 2007 Kawasaki KLR 650 and it was only $4770 plus $100 doc fee. List was $5199. I bought my '98 Valkyrie new from the same dealer I bought my CB from and it listed at $12,799 but I got it for $12,399 plus a $75 doc fee. Did I get screwed or are freight and prep separate fees these days?

Traxxion Dynamics are known for their Ak-20 Cartridge kits used in AMA and WERA national racing and also known by harley & GL1800 owners. Anyway gave them a ring and asked them if they could come up with a kit for our bikes and 2 weeks later It showed up at work. I sent them my fork and basically what they did is they take out the old cartridge,springs,shims,fork Caps and replace them with the Ak-20 Cartridge kit.There are two types of ak-20 cartridge kits. Non Adjustable and fully adjustable. I have the Fully Adjustable version and all adjustments are done on top of the forks. Silver 3mm allen hex in the center of the left fork cap controls low speed compression damping. Red 3mm allen hex in the center of right fork cap controls rebound damping. The Black 10mm allen hex in the center of both fork caps controls the spring preload. This set up is taylor made for rider weight type of riding and anything you might want done specific to your needs.

The first one, an air intake funnel, looks like a big intake port that fits into a hole in the side of the air cleaner box. It also seems like you are looking at a filter from the inside.

Apparently it needs a corresponding high flow silencer to work. Staintune anyone?

The second is a set of 4 air funnels that apparently go between the "intake manifold" ?? and the throttle bodies. These are 10mm wider than stock and are the same diameter as the throttle bodies.

So would it be something like this: 1)air intake funnel, 2)stock or K&N filter, 3) the 4 air funnels into the throttle bodies, then out via TSR headers and a hi-flow slip-on like the Staintune? I'm surely no expert and have never even seen my air filter.

Will these accessories, combined with an aftermarket full exhaust, turn the mild mannered CB into a beast?
