Rear turn signal conversion to Running lights? - kenfyoozed_imp - 11-22-2013 As the title suggest, is there a way to convert the rear turn signals to running lights? I know th laws read that you cant have rear amber running lights. But i found a kit on twisted throttle that has led bulbs that have both the amber for turn signals but red rfor running and brake lights. http://www.twistedthrottle.com/turn-signal-to-running-turn-brake-light-conversion-kit-stem-mounted-turn-signals-type-1 Not sure if this would work on the cb11's. Thoughts? RE: Rear turn signal conversion to Running lights? - bflint - 03-17-2016 Has anybody installed this rear turn signal conversion on a CB1100? RE: Rear turn signal conversion to Running lights? - AzBob_imp - 03-17-2016 Since the bulbs are LED you'll have to run a 50watt resistor across each turn signal wire to not have the fast-blink problem unless the kit includes something already. RE: Rear turn signal conversion to Running lights? - Ragtopme_imp - 03-17-2016 This looks interesting. Having been rear-ended in a car, don't want that experience on a bike. The more light, the better. Think this kit is going onto the wish list. RE: Rear turn signal conversion to Running lights? - Toddman_imp - 03-18-2016 It may be possible to use your tail light running light wire to activate the running light portion of the turn signals. |
