What's the easiest way to move turn signals in for rear saddle luggage to fit ? I'm assuming that the company providing the mount hardware does not take care of the turn signals too?

I'm wondering what percentage of CB1100 owners previously owned an early sohc4 CB750 or rode motorcycles in the 1970's? Honda seems to have marketed the CB1100 to that group of riders, its retro but modern. They sure got my attention!

Riding impressions between the new and old, the 1st things that comes to mind is the smoother throttle response from the fuel injection, the 2nd thing is the improved front brake. More power, especially at low rpm's.

And please post pics of your old rides!

has anyone found a replacement gas cap that doesn't require a key to open or have a quick fix for the standard gas cap to get around unlocking it every time to fill up? thanx fishmitch

I don't want to say trading UP... but if the 2014 we get has the 6th. gear, dual pipes, and all the things we're reading about, I'm going to seriously consider trading in my 2013. I like the idea of a 6th gear, the dual pipes, and the matching side covers. I don't really want the spoke wheels and don't care about changes to the instrumentation. And I'm not thrilled about white, but these might not be deal killers. It's the pipes, the 6th gear, and if it has a silver engine with chrome headers... man it would be tough to walk away from. What would everyone else do?

We'll guys, I am going to ask Takashi for a refund on the TSR header. It has a fatal design flaw, It is sad because the quality of the components and chrome is first class and the header pipes look soo good.

The RTV blew out again today and I'm done. There is no way in hell RTV alone will hold up against the heat and pressure that an exhaust systems makes, oh, and I forgot the added resistance offered by the CAT. That's why every other system is welded, uses springs or clamps. TSR, what were you thinking???

During my diagnostic battle with my TSR Header, (she has no go now between 5K and redline, I suspect the PC V is dumping too much fuel) I pulled the plugs to see how she was running (they look on the rich side to me) The threaded portion of the plug is an inch long!

Just a word of advice guys, If you haven't pulled your plugs yet, do it and give them a good coat of anti-seize. The plugs take a 14 mm socket. Cheap insurance

I think Hopkins would do like the movie and ride the heck out of it.
Maybe to the point of breaking it to see what the limits are.But maybe
just running it in all conditions to see if it has flaws.I've already detected
a flaw common to Honda.They run hot.Not to mean they don't run good.
You just have to use extra caution in really hot weather.Or parade biking.
That's the worst.
Of course it takes years to know how to tinker with an engine.Do not
try that at home.But still,a Honda has build quality on it's side.
The Honda Goldwing engine is practically bullet proof.
I have no idea'r about this 1100 engine other than it looks sweet and
has a great powerband with awesome Linear power.The engine revs
with nary a dip.

Went to the garage this morning ( 19 degrees in NY ) to start some equipment, frozen and snapped accelerator cable on our utility vehicle, ether out for the 1st time with our diesels. Getting to old for this, NC is looking better and better.
