I was thinking about buying a smallish motorcycle trailer to carry one CB1100 behind our Murano when we go on driving vacations, saw this "Stinger" model, anyone have any thought on it or other choices out there? For me, the less space it takes in my garage or driveway when not in use is a major consideration. I also wonder if something this small requires brake and running lights...

Ok, I've decided that I want to loose the big reflectors from the lower fork sliders. Th possibility of marring my front legs sends chills down my spine so I want the safest way possible.

When I converted my old Beemer K75 from low seat to high seat I had to remove appliques from the tank and used fishing line line a band saw blade and worked them off. Any idea on if this will work as well on the metal legs?
I know WD40 will clean it up but I want to remove them w/o damage to either the legs or the reflectors.

most of the time i enjoy riding in the wind. this weekend i took my girl out for about 120 miles, mostly under 60mph and it was great, but over 60 on some faster moving highways wasnt that comfortable.

i have an open faced helmet, im 6ft have the bars raised an inch and angled back so i sit straight up when i ride.

the weather is so nice here ide like to take some longer rides and sooner or later will wind up on roads where the traffic moves around that 80 mph point.

thanks for the input guys. i have read some screens are better for this that others and would rather listen to experience than buy several till i find the right one.

Like a couple of other members of this forum I recentally bought a Daytona Cozy seat and, like them, I love the look and comfort of it.
The only thing that irked was the fact that it didn't have Honda written on the back like the stock item. To rememdy this situation I found this (http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/331023655445?...497.l2649) Honda stencil on ebay. I used a vinyl spray paint to paint the logo on and I think you'll agree that the end result looks stock.
I couldn't be happier.

Went out for a good spin with our friend RandyB today. Perfect weather except for a little patch of fog on the coast that lasted all of about five minutes.
We stopped at Davenport on Highway 1 for lunch, where I snapped a couple shots:

And somebody had a squeaky clean looking CBX parked there. What a great classic motorcycle.



We encountered a couple speed demons who surprised the crap out of us, but aside from that it was smooth sailing all day. Clear roads, 70 degrees, and sunshine. And another 100 miles of bonding with this beautiful bike in the twisties

Is anyone going to Daytona for Bike Week? I'm riding the CB over and will be there
Saturday and Sunday, March 8+9. If anyone else is going... we ought to try and meet up.

I shouldn’t talk since I ordered the same fenders in the "short" version. The front is already mounted and the rear should arrive next week.

Takashi once again distinguished himself as a standup guy. When I ordered the rear, Takashi asked me for license plate mounting hole spacing and worked with Chic Design to come up with a $30 adapter which Takashi threw in for free.

So how many of you would outfit their CB1100's with the LONG front and rear fenders?

Think Japanese Police Bike maybe?

For some reason these little projects seem to take all day.

Installed the Givi E26 base plate on the Honda rear carrier. That part was fairly smooth, but you have to make sure to leave enough room so you can take the seat off. That makes the base plate hang over the back of the carrier just a tad.

Next came the wiring which took the most time. Had to search other forums to find out which of the 3 honda wires to splice to the 2 Givi wires.

The Honda green/yellow wire (power) goes to Givi Red wire. Honda green wire (ground) goes to Givi blue wire. This is key as polarity matters to the LED.
Leave the Honda brown wire alone.

Had to shave the wires a bit with a sharp knife to ensue they were connected. The in line splicers are a good idea but not great.
