There is a company based in Europe with a presents in California with tuners across the USA. ECUnleashed has been around for a long time and works with track teams. I have personal had work done on several bikes.

Just went to there website and BOOM the have added the CB1100. I will be putting in a call to them when they open to get more info. Go to the link below where you can find a local tuner and lets see what they have. I'm very surprised they took the time for R&D for this bike.

All Honda ECU's must go out to California to be flashed. Honda unlike Kawi or Suzuki can not be flashed by the external pins and must be drilled to access an internal pin. The turn around time is two weeks. Still waiting on what the flash includes.

Has anyone of our members here owned a Vmax before or currently?.. I've ridden one a few times before.. never owned one.. was curious on how the ownership experience is like.. ?

My wife and I went for a ride and I used the sedici bags for the trip to mt Dora.
Bags worked great. Mounted the straps under the seat. Nice and secure.
But the bags were tight against the signals and my wife was just barely able to ride comfortably on the pegs. 1-2" back would have made all the difference.

Is anyone beside me thinking about putting spoked wheels on their 2014 DLX when they get it? I really like the look of the European models with the spoked wheels, and I plan to look into purchasing a set of Honda wheels if my dealer in US can accommodate me. Does anyone have any info (or guesses at this point) about whether or not the spoked Honda wheels will be a simple swap? Are the spoked Honda wheel tubeless? Are the rotors and wheel spacers interchangeable? Prices? Thanks.

Yesterday was the annual Black Dog Ride with a series of one-day rides all over Australia. The Black Dog Ride raises money for mental health services. More information at http://www.blackdogride.com.au/

As it was a good cause and I like a ride, I figured to go along. It was a good, hot Queensland day and the rain held off, although we need it so badly it would have been kind of welcome. There were plenty of bikes and the ride kicked off at the Ettamogah Pub and followed an agreeable route with some freeway (very little), hills, twisties, and flat country roads, many of which I've written about before.

On the way out to our turning point at Kilcoy, I followed a very nice looking 1977 Goldwing, although I didn't know what it was until I got home and hunted around on the net for it. This is the Ettamogah Pub. Its weird design is based on a regular comic in a magazine, the name of which I can't remember. The comic ran forever and the pub became iconic.

Do any of you CB11 owners have one of these attached to your bike? MSS offers a 15 inch clear and smoke for the CB and I'm curious how it would look on the CB.

Ok I'll be honest, being a man I haven't even opened the owners manual for my bike yet. I never read instructions for anything unless I'm desperate. I gleaned somewhere (I think on this forum) that the standard pressures are 36psi front and 42 rear. I haven't checked mine but they seem fine.

I just wanted to know what pressures you chaps were using, since I've just started tweaking things on the bike to 'dial it in' a bit more.

Also, if you have changed the shock preload settings, what are you running and how do you like the new settings?

If you'd share your weight it might help too! Don't be shy, I'm sure there are a fair few porkers amongst our riding bretheren!

These are emissions-related maintenance intervals. It's entirely possible that the bike could go much longer but since the bike is air-cooled, the maintenance schedule is much tighter in order to meet EPA requirements.

So there is some truth in the notion that 8K is an absurdly short interval, especially for spark plugs.

How many have found valves out of adjustment on the first 8K service?
