Has anyone used them? I've seen fitment problems with piggyback shocks on the CB (having to mount them backward, etc.).

Who is the founder of this forum? I absolutely love this forum, and I am grateful it is there. I have been reading threads right and left ever since I bought my CB a month ago. Would it be The Ferret by any chance?

On Saturday I had a great day! Meet-up with another CB1100 rider, AndyHe, from this wonderful forum and some of his friends at the Mukilteo ferry dock. The sky was blue, and Andy has a nice dial temp gauge centered on his bars so at 8:30am I knew it was 60 degrees and getting better. Leading the ride was a transplanted couple from England and their 8 year old son.She on a BMW and the dad and son on/in a Guzzi with a sidecar. Three Ducati, one Harley, one red CB, and one red & silver CB. We took 3 ferries, crossed a floating bridge had a yummy lunch at an organic cafe, stopped for ice cream, and rode a little over 100 miles. Not a lot of miles, but as they say “You meet the nicest people…”

Basically...I like the 2013 European model. But I live in the US. I rode a rental in Germany in 2014 on one of the greatest motorcycling adventures of my life. I want that bike...here! However, I like the six-speed, larger gas tank, and 2-into-2 of the 2014 Deluxe, with ABS. And...that's the only way to get a silver engine and wheels in the US as far as I know.

Will 2013 silver side panels and 2013 plain seat fit a 2014 (US-spec) Deluxe?

Can I have it all?



P.S. How can you guys concentrate on typing with the animated emojis juking around on the left side panel?!

Another question: was ABS available on the 2013s? If so is there a model designation for ABS vs non-ABS?

Will there be a 2015 CB1100...both ABS and non-ABS?

I have my tank almost off and cannot figure out how to unhook the fuel line from the tank ??? Can someone please show or explain that connection to me . .? Do I squeeze twist or what ?

I noticed when looking at my CB from a distance, the Staintune seems to be more gold than the other stainless pieces on the CB, less bright & white.
Anyone have a treatment that will change the color back to what it should be? They are not really dirty, just turning darker...

About to roll the thing out from winter storage and start it for the first time. Just wondering if there is an easy way to get the thing to crank and build oil pressure without actually firing the engine (like holding down the gas on a car when starting to shut off the fuel injectors). I know how to do it manually, but just thought I'd check here for a shortcut. Thanks!

When replacing the meters, does putting in a new speedometer reset all the mileage back to 00000? If so, how is anyone supposed to know how many miles are on the bike? Is the mileage tracked and stored inside the speedometer?

2013 CB1100 has 7600 miles, instruments were damaged in a crash. The housings were replaced by me a few months ago but the LED panel has begun to glitch and parts of it flicker intermittently. I have new meters and plan to change them out at the 8000 mile service. Can I put them in myself? It's a simple job but is there any California regulations that say I can't do it?
