I bought a nice mount for it, got the charger, but I can't see it.
It's not bright enough. Doh!

I need an inexpensive (less than $100) dedicated gps that I can buy on ebay.

I don't care if its moto dedicated or waterproof as long as it works and I can see it in the sunlight or on a cloudy day (can't even do that with mine).

If it is thinish all the better i might not have to buy another mount.

I'd use maps, but I like a gps.

Not sure if this is normal? I installed a battery tender quick disconnect /w usb charger . I connected it directly to the battery . Tested the USB with my iPhone cable and it charges up but noticed a ticking noise when I turn the bike on before hitting the ignition button. I dont remember ever hearing it prior to installing but then again, I may be freakin myself out lol.

My bad if i'm just over thinking things .

Also, will the USB drain my battery if I dont have the iPhone cable plugged in? or should I disconnect the USB portion when I'm not using it?

this is how I connected the battery tender cables. So the "o ring" parts art on the bottom then the actual battery "+ , - " metal parts sit on top and then the screws . I accidently made a small spark too lol.. I hope that doesnt mess anything up. I checked the turn signals and stuff and everything seemed okay.

I’ve put way too much money into my CB to be considered sane but I have to admit I knew that would be the case when I bought it. I realize this isn’t what most choose to do with their CB but none the less apparently I did. Have you ever had a crazy idea and then realized you actually manifest it?

Can’t help anyone with cheap thrills but if you want an expensive one try this:

- upgrade your suspension front and rear (Ohlins and Adreani)
- drop a tooth on the front sprocket
- get a lower resistance exhaust for some deep breathing exercises
- add a high flow air filter and remove the snorkel
- add a power commander and get it tuned by a pro
- put a single sport saddle on it so you can climb around in the thing
- install some braided brake lines and sintered brake pads because at some point you are going to need to cease and desist the fun
- throw on a pair of pazzo shorty levers
- chunk those handlebars for some clip-ons or clubmans to get some weight on the front wheel
- replace the rims with 17” lightweight rims because no one runs fast with lead shoes

And with your last penny get a set of Michelin Power RS tires and hang on for dear life.

Spent 8 hours riding the little monster today on those Michelin’s and it’s definitely the most expensive and most exilerating thrill I’ve had to date.

Seriously. Mission accomplished. I have officially had as much fun if not more than any squid on a super sport bike on an air cooled throwback modern retro that looks right out of the 60’s.

All kidding aside, and I realize few CB owners would ever feel the need to try them, but those are some amazing tires. Left my buddy on an Aprilla in the dust today. And I probably got all of that done cheaper than his Aprilla cost.

I love everything about my 2017, the like the look of the stock seat , but after an hour it becomes quite unbearable.

Looking at the Corbin and the K&H. Anybody has used both , any comparison notes will be very helpful.

Glad to see so many burros still in town.
Nice ride (288 miles), but way too many bikes in town (River Run)...difficult for friend and I to find a place to park.
We walked both sides of the road, but purchased no trinkets.
Friend (Vrod) wanted to go to Laughlin and had not seen Oatman.
We skipped Laughlin.

Monday, weather permitting: Jacob Lake (430 miles)

6,818 miles on the CB since Nov 7
This trip averaged 50.7 MPG per trip computer
288/5.6 (trip computer) = 51.6 MPG

Around Lake Mead, average was 59.9 MPG, running 55-60 MPH.
Other than Oatman Road and Bullhead, most cruising was about 75 MPH.

Hi all, thanks to this forum and Memphis Mikes youtube video, I did it ! I posted two pics, just want to make sure that the level is correct before I turn the bike on. From what I've read and saw on the video the bike takes 4quarts. Right now my oil level is right on the top line and I have a bit of oil left in the jug. Should I just use it all? Or is this right? Sorry for the noob questions, I've never worked on a motorcycle or car lol

So I started the bike up and there are no leaks but I’m hearing this weird ticking noise now. Is that the “oil phenomenon”? I’m in So Cal and I used 10W-30SJ Honda Oil. Was I supposed to use 10W-40? Or is that preference?
