I have noticed lately, the police bikes here in ventura, ca. have very bright amber LED fog lights.. they really looked good to me, so I bought two of them.. I mounted them on the rubber mounted oil cooler to minimize vibration and to keep them away from the headers, figuring heat and vibration are the two killers of some electronics.. most of the reviews were good but they warned of screws coming loose, so I used locktight and different mounting bolts.. the lights really help you to be seen.. also they help me when riding my favorite road (hwy 33) and going through the unlit tunnels.. prices vary between $20. to over $200 for a pair.. mine cost me $65.. they are made of a cast metal and feel quite solid.. only time will tell as to how they will hold up, but I really like them !! .. hopefully my new friend Peter, will be able to post my pics for me..... chuckk j.

So yes the title of the thread is exactly what happened. Just doing routine maintenance and came across what you see below nuts and all. I was going to order the stock filter but does anybody run the K & N air filter? About the same price and I’ve always had good luck with K & N. Hi all. This isn't an oil thread as such. So Don't panic. In the UK, Halfords (which is a motor car/cycle parts type shop for those overseas) have motorcycle Mobil 1 oils on big discount, nearly a tenner off which is a big saving. I nearly bought some in readiness for the next oil change but I Couldn't see the cb1100ex in the index card so left it. Has anyone used it and had good or bad experiences? Just thought it was worth asking here......

| full leathers for winter riding...does it work? |

I've been exploring a number of options for upgrading my winter gear this year. number one on the list was a set of eletrically heated winter wear (jacket, gloves, maybe overpants). However I've recently encounted a set of full riding leathers (one piece) for an incredible price. I've never had cause to own one of these, and I don't go to the track, but when i tried it on i felt instantly hot and insulated. i would never wear this thing in the summer. That's when i got to thinking.....is it good for winter? i'm now considering it as an all-encompasing winter riding solution. am i crazy? do these things work in the winter?
Here it is:
https://www.cyclegear.com/gear/bilt-pred...-race-suit
obviously i'm only considering buying it at all because of the incredible price, so i'm not really interested in looking at other one-piece suits, because i know they'll be way out of budget. I just want to know if anybody has ever tried wearing something like this in sub-40 degrees F and can give an accurate account of whether or not it's warm in there.

Found this awesome private collection of motorcycles in Vanderpool, Texas. All but two are driven regularly. The three twisted sisters (farm roads 335, 336, 337) are nearby so a great themed vacation.
Imgur seems to be the best way to share these. Doing this on my smartphone so bear with glitches ...
