I found notes from the 1st owner in the owners manual. It was first bought on Jan. 16 2016 from western Honda in Scottsdale AZ. in the first month he added the White House tank and seat, fork brace, K&N air filter and flow oil filter
first oil change at 300 mi and every 1000 mi. after that with mobile one.
the 2nd owner bought the bike in March of 2020 and added the side covers, yoshi. SR2 can and reflashed ECU
I got it in Jan. 2021 and plan to add the white house head light and tail light assy. with turn signals. luggage of some sort maybe a fairing

while giving my bike a good once over flushing fluids and such i looked in the factory tool kit and an allen wrench and screw driver that is all. i like to be prepared. i know it is a Honda and will not break down but i can help other riders. so i carry this kit item on right is a small led light that plugs in to battery tender with a long lead i also carry a tire plug kit in a small tail bag

I'm looking for a mesh jacket for summer. all input appreciated!

p.s. I'd like to share something I learned this morning... I thought my pool cover pump had failed. big puddle - not good. I remembered the hot mist vaporizer I used a while back said if the motor doesn't start add some salt to the water. I tossed a few hand fulls of salt into the puddle and the pump started pumping! saved me about $110. That will just about pay for some mesh jackets!

Had a chance between rain storms to scoot across the valley into the foothills west of Willows. Enjoyed a great ride with temps mainly upper 50s. Hills are starting to green up nicely.
Finally got to give the Conti Road Attacks a good run, very satisfied. Along with good handling they soak up irregularities well. They replaced a set of PR3's with approximately 12,000 miles on them, I don't expect that much from these but I like them so far. About 100 miles, 2 hours, great fun!

Hi all, in the post today a glossy brochure landed for the new Busa. I wasn’t expecting it. I bought one in 2017 so presume I’m still on a mailing list of some sort? Anyway obviously had a look through. Nice looking bike. (Taken for what it is). Absolutely full of tech now and acronyms to go with it. Launch control, Active speed limiter, slope dependent control system, hill start and on and on and on it goes. It’s a world away from the CB. Not sure it’s gonna do that well. The world has sort of moved on and compared to when it was launched in 99 there’s a lot of very powerful stuff available nowadays to choose from.

thoughts on the new Rebel 1100? Looks like they're putting the africa twin motor in the same frame as the 500 and 300. Tuned it down to 86 HP. Love them breaking the mold and not just trying to make a knockoff Harley like other companies. Also offering touring package and windscreen. GO HONDA
