Inspired by the Chip Beck thread, I came up with a simpler solution. Went to the hardware store and bought a 4" by 10" sheet of thin (1/16th inch) aluminum plate for craft projects. I cut it down to 4" by 7" to match the license plate and used my grinding wheel to put a radius in the corners. Then drilled four holes to match the plate, and two holes to match the heavy stock license plate holder. Since you can't countersink such thin sheet I got four nylon spacers to go in-between the license plate and my new holder plate. Added two reflector buttons to keep the WA state patrol happy.

Hi every body my name is jordan and i bought my 2013 honda cb1100 back in november 2013 and i just know noticed that the stock exhause on the left side had i giant dent in it like it honestly folds in on the left side of the exhaust now i am a very carefull rider and i know i didnt hit anything on the road does anyone know if this is a manufacture flaw or how it is supposed to be made to give a better point at this look at the stock exhaust its on the dent is on the left side and i just noticed it a couple of days ago PLEASE RESPOND ASAP thankyou and have a good day and one more question? when did you do your first oil change on the cb1100 ? I was riding through the city yesterday afternoon when I saw a CB parked on 7th street, close to Market. I couldn't take a pic mid-ride but it was a '13 with a windscreen and a yellow flower propped on the handlebars- kinda hard to forget lol.

There aren't a whole lot of 1100s in Sf (yet) so I feel like there's a good chance it belonged to someone on the forum- if that was you, just wanted to say "sup" haha

Just saw a CB1100 tshirt posted on instagram. I checked out their website and they have a bunch of different options of CB1100 branded apparel, even a coffee mug. They used the 2014 Deluxe. They're all Cafe Press style so it's the same logo slapped on different shirts, sweatshirts, etc.

The first big event of spring each year in these parts, the Delaware Valley Norton Riders, of which I am a member, host a great event in Washington's Crossing State Park (the PA side) that draws many hundreds of vintage and modern bikes. And the post event rides are nice as well.

I'll be there, on which bike I am not sure...my Norton P11 isn't happy with 100 plus mile jaunts...along with a bunch of my mates from the NJRats.com group.
