I run a camera on my helmets for commuting and my burgeoning YouTube efforts. I had looked for ready-made mounts for some of my helmets, but there wasn't much out there for the models I own, so I started making my own mounts:

However, looking for something else, the chin mount website came up, and wow, they have really stepped up their helmet model offerings:

They're 3D printed, and maybe $35 sounds like a bit much, but compared to the effort of custom-molding JB Weld epoxy, it's pretty tempting for my next lid!

Three Royal Enfields! I like the W800 at the 7 minute mark.

This kit was on sale for $300 and came complete with expandable top load panniers with rain covers, removable stay brackets, turn signal relocation kit, and everything is nicely manufactured.

Installation was straight forward but I did have one issue, the panniers stays are made for the CB1100 without a luggage rack and I have the OEM rack on my bike. The rack is wider than the seat so with it, the top of the panniers are out wider relative to the bottom. There is a pocket in the lower back of each pannier to slide over the stays. I ended up having about 1 1/2" cut out of each stainless steel stay then welded to position the bottom out more.

The stays themselves just snap out of the bracket to be removed when not using the panniers.

During my early 20s times, in mid 70s, I assembled my own 250cc bike out of a few....
That bike had a kick start only, points type ignition and a generator-rectifier-voltage regulator as far as a 12V charging system is concerned.
I took the voltage regulator to an auto electrical shop for a pre-adjustment and the old mechanic told me to bring my bike back for a final-live set up to prevent the battery from overcharging...
At that time, I did not think much about his wise advice as we were already late for our 4K kms long distance round trip through few European countries.
Suddenly, on our/wt pillion way back home my bike died.....checked a few electrics and I noticed that the battery had no acid due to a "melted" hole in it = overcharging..
We got stuck 1500 kms away from home in a foreign country with very limited cash (no credit cards or cells at that times).....
I got the bike bump started but every time I turned on any loads like the stop light or horn, the bike died again....not thinking much and with no clue from where this idea came, I joined 2 or 3 battery cells by a wire that we have with us as one of "spare parts".

There were a few another issues .....with the carburetor falling off, due to improper, not gas resistant, rubber connection used between the carburetor and the cylinder, stolen emblems from my bike, running out of gas, almost falling off a cliff, flat tire experience......interaction at a gas station with a Russian citizen about a pair of Wrangler jeans, hotel stay and night re-entry, free ride an a police Russian Ural bike .....and the USSR border crossing with a 3 hr interrogation....I could write a longer essay about this trip..

Finally, we successfully and safely continued our ride home.

Trying to do my first oil change since buying my CB.

Oil filter almost feels wielded on. I used my channel lock oil wrench all that did was was crush it. I tried a 65MM oil wrench I have but I think it’s a 64MM filter? It slides off, and I tried stabbing it with a screw driver and turning all I did was break my screw driver…

Any ideas how I can get this filter off? I was thinking of one of those rubberband ratcheting wrenches but I can only find car ones that are too big…

Is the power source for the low oil, pressure LED light, the same one as the light in the tachometer? The light for the gauge works. There is a good ground from the gauge to the switch, the switch grounds as it should. Everything appears to be well connected, however, the light for the gauge does not light.
Any help with this will be very appreciate it

Hello Everyone!

This coming riding season the wife and I are wanting to do some longer rides on the CB. So I'm looking to get a more comfortable seat. I've been relatively fine with the stock seat on trips less then an 2 hours straight but over that and I find my butt and lower back hurting. I believe I am fine with the seat height, I am about 5'8" with a 28" inseam so definitely shorter then most. Maybe I need a shorter seat then stock?

I was looking at Webike, and I prefer the flatter look of the K&H but I prefer the price and passenger rear hip stopper of the Daytona Cozy. I was hoping to get people's feedback on these two options. Which would be the more comfortable and practical for two up riding?
Does the K&H justify its premium price?
Are their any other complete seat options that I'm missing?
I know about the Corbin but I cant stand the way they look, so that's out.
