What a difference, I had one on my Vstrom and it definitely made an improvement, however with this CB the difference was even more noticeable. I just took it out on the slab and hit 90 and this thing felt planted like it was on rails, these also reduce the waddling around passing semis. Felt like the front end gained 20lb, steerings a little heavier but not a problem whatsoever, feels rock solid in the twisties.
Love it!

The Honda CB350 seemed to a good starting point. After talking with a good friend... he just happened to have one. A few minutes of negotiation, and a 1972 CB350 made it home.

Here's where the project stands.


All the lights will be LED. The headlight has three super bright LED's. Low beam is top, single, high beam is all three (blinding). The GSXR has a "pass" switch on the left control. Normally it flashes the high beam, but might use it to engage a strobe through the turn signals.


Tach/Speedo is from SpeedHut. Larger gauge is the tachometer. Unit has a rev light, turn signal indicators, high beam and an LCD display with multiple functions.

I'm having "dirt road" in Tennessee do my seat. It will be the fifth seat he's done for me . He is good, fast,and reasonable. He sent me photos of his first CB1100 seat.
I'm considering a charcoal gray material called "Wave" for mine . He says he will make a "2-up" seat next. I'm trying to decide between the solo cafe style and the two up.

Hey everyone, I tried to post a short reviewed of our ride, but having trouble with tapatalk on my phone. So far 432 miles in two days. I will post an update with pictures when I get home.

Looking for input, okay current input on magnetic gps/cell phone holders/cases. I searched the forums and saw some really old threads and none really that were magnetic.

I am going on an 11 hour ride coming up next month, escorting the three travelling walls -- The Wall that Heals, The Canadian Vietnam Memorial Wall and the Wall of Remembrance. Doing my part as an American Legion Rider.

I have a battery tender usb port that I plan on using to keep the cell phone charged while I am on the road. I am looking for a case though, preferably a magnetic one that will hold the cell phone well to the tank and allow me to run the power cord between the phone and the battery tender usb port.

Anyone have any? Anyone seen any good ones? Looking for ones that will definitely stay on and not have me worried about it flying off at highway/freeway speeds. I don't have a fairing or windscreen so I get the full effect of the wind.

Iam the original owner of a cb1100. The only problem i have with the bike is the plastic headlight lense. Any suggestions would like to replace it with a glass one the light but hate the cheap plastic look

Mr. T was kind enough to send me a Japanese market CB1100 brochure as well as the factory accessory brochure. I've attached a few scans of the bike brochure, which has a lot of beauty shots that are a bit hard to scan. If there is interest I will try to scan the accessory brochure.

"Pogo stick" seat was very comfortable. Combo of seven springs, which matched the drivers weight.

Last week my brother, dad, and myself took a ride from Salt Lake City to Priest Lake in northern Idaho.
