Hi Everyone. Great site.
I saw the CB1100 and knew it was the bike for me. I will probably pull the trigger this weekend.

I believe I need to buy in California because of the smog control. I keep seeing 49 State legal.

I want to pay as little as possible (doesn't everyone?). The 2013's seem to be several thousand less that the 14 delux.

Since it doesn't look like I'll find a 14 dlx for 11K or less OTD, I'll probably go with a 13. The best I found is $7500, but that turns into $9600 OTD with 7.5% tax rate and a bunch of tacked on fees.

I have checked Cycle Trader and as many Craigs lists as I can find. I found a used one with 1K miles locally in Roseville, but it was laid down gently and has light scratches.

Anyone see any deals in California worth mentioning? Should I take the $9600 and run?

Reevu helmets have built in rear view mirrors. As a daily commuter that has to merge on and off the freeway everyday I am very interested in the extra field of vision that these offer.

Has anyone see one of these?
Are they any good?

My local Honda dealer just put in a n order for the new CB300 naked bike. Very nice, I might have to slot one in next to my CB1100.

I've been keeping my eye on Staintune as I'm interested in their upcoming "Retro-Styled Sport Mufflers" for my Deluxe but it seems to be just a rumor at this point and nobody knows if they are days, weeks, or months away from being available. So, in the meantime, I'm wondering what other options exist that retain the overall look of the factory pipes with a bit more "growl". I did some Googling on the subject and came up empty. There seem to be options out there but I couldn't find anything that I thought would look grossly modern and out-of-place on this bike.

Any suggestions?

Edit: One other thing... I'm NOT willing to give up my center-stand.

Does anyone know the EBC part number for the HH sintered brake pads for our CB1100?
