Anybody out there familiar with Droptail trailers? made in Texas

I have been looking for a new commuter bike to replace a tired rebel 125. Well, I have just found this - a Sinnis RetroStar 250.
It is a Chinese motorcycle made by Qingqi company, sold by several distributors, Mash (France & Belgium) Sinnis (UK) Herald (UK).

Yes, it is Chinese and I have heard all the horror stories and negative comments on some of the bike forums about Chinese products. To be fair, I think some of the comments were well deserved for some of the other bike manufacturers. I have checked over some of the Qingqi bikes and they are remarkably well made. OK - some of the welds are not to Honda standard, but they are not bad or likely to fall apart.

Some of the running gear is poor, tyres (reports of no grip in wet weather), chain and sprockets of poor quality (easily replaced).
Those two items are easily fixed. If you buy the more expensive Herald version, it is fitted with Avon tyres and better quality chain.

The engine is a direct copy of a Suzuki GN250 (as fitted to the current TU-250). Spares are interchangeable between the two engines. Economical to run, 80 mpg, 70 - 75 mph top speed.

How do I cipher the production number ? Is it the last few digits of the VIN ?

I saw the TADAO: Power Box-Short on samurider. Has anyone installed this on their bike? 2014? How does the center stand work with it?

So here I go buy a brand new beautiful CB1100 last weekend, and what happens?

I get pounded for 400 miles by rainstorms on the ride home from Sacramento to Los Angeles.

And now I look at the weekend forecast for L.A. - more dang rain!!!

What are the shock bushing sizes for 13 Cb1100?

I don't know how y'all do it...NOT riding your CB1100.

Since I bought my CB1100 DLX in December, I have ridden it everyday, except about 2 days for heavy rain or really cold temps. Here in North Texas, we can ride everyday unless there is ice on the road.

These past few days we have had sleet, ice and snow, and it seems like the whole northern part of the state is shut down.

Plus, I love when my bike is uncovered so I can look out the window and gaze at it. I love looking at my bike. But with the bad weather, I have it covered up and protected.

Next week they are promising warmer temps and sunshine, so I'll be able to ride again and admire this beautiful motorcycle.

I've been doing research on cruise controls and throttle locks for my CB. I've pretty much settled on one from Kaoko. Has anyone installed one of these on a 2013 CB and which part number did you get?

On the Kaoko website, the part number for our CB's is listed as HND30-19. In all my checking it appears that the correct part number should be HND100. I found others who have verified that HDN30-19 doesn't fit. Does anyone have any different info? I have found a company that has the HND100 in stock and want to make sure I purchase the correct one.
