For a ‘piggyback’ version of these shocks you could probably use an ‘HO 414’ (black spring) or ‘HO 417’ (yellow spring) product line. Here is the info:

The top will not be a problem. But you would have to make some kind of reducer sleeve for the bottom eyes.

I decided to purchase the piggyback HO-417 and will deal with the bottom part. Looking at the picture from the "Bad Seeds" you can clearly tell, they just used a bolt and most likely some kind of spacer ... I also have a machine shop at work, which I could utilize, but I don't think so it will be required. Down the line a new swing arm is in order to further reduce weight. ( I think forum member LoLa went this route as well, but not in my budget yet ).

Anyone running a taller front tire ? Like a 110/90 vs. the stock 110/80-18''. My dealer thinks it could rub a little. I was told that Avon did not make the 110/80 anymore. It would be a 10mm differance. Taller. I checked my front fender and it looks like it would fit just fine. I am looking at the Avon Am26 Roadrider tires. Please let me know. And God bless..

Think I know the answer to this. Just want to make sure. It's cold and rainy for the most part here, and a few packages are arriving. I'm not quite making it to that 600 mile break in / tune up as quickly as I expected. Common sense leads me to believe I should wait until after 600 mile tune up to add the following. But I could be wrong. What do you think?

Still in the break in period. It's been raining non stop since I purchased the bike. Anyways, managed to get 30-40 miles in on her last night after work. Dam she's fun !!! Blue sky and nearly 75 degrees, perfect weather. Anyways, here are a couple of photos.

who has done what to get the best dyno numbers?. I doubt anyone has done head work and cams yet, but for bolt on mods, what makes these bikes wake up?.

Here it is March already and no news on Honda USA bringing a new model year to our dealers. Anyone heard anything or we just have 2013 & 2014 year bikes for our enjoyment??

In other news, the Arrow stainless steel header is a perfect fit for the Moriwaki slip-on. As if made for each other. Looks great, sounds great, not obnoxiously loud. Of course I took this one picture above and the battery died, I will post pictures as soon as the bike is home.

So I am researching headers and cannot get any concrete explanation for the difference in Machine bent headers vs Hand bent headers, besides the obvious price. What makes one better than the other?
