Hi,

Anybody know if the single exhaust will fit CB1100 EX dual exhaust model mountings - on one side of course!
Looking at maybe fitting a second hand header set and adding a slip on?

Today another 200km .. nice day .. nice ride .. in 2 weeks 1500km ..

Friday we had some warmer weather so I thought it would be fun to
take a ride out to Gays Mills to see the apple orchards. If the trees are in bloom it can be a site to see. In the morning I had to mount some slicks for a sport bike guy so we didn't get rolling till 11:.
To get there it means going from the east side of the city to head west. It takes us 30-40 min. to get out of the city and hit Hwy 14
heading west. The sun did not stay out but it still stayed in 60s.
Hwy 14 isn't bad as it goes through small towns west of Madison but does take a lot of traffic. A stop in Richland Center at McDs for a fish sandwich then on to Boaz ( I just love that name). turning onto
Hwy. 171 from Hwy 14 takes you into downtown Boaz. I once was stopped by a herd of cows crossing the road in Boaz. 171 is one roads I just love. When you turn on it you know you are right on the edge of the driftless area. The hills get big and there is a lot of valleys. 171 runs in a valley all the way to Gays Mills until you come
out to a ridge just before Gays Mills where all the apple orchards are.
Only some of the blooms were out, we were a bit early.
We decided to turn south and ride along the wis. river on Hwy. 60
back. You can take 171 all the way to the Mississippi but we did not
have the time. Hwy 60 runs right up next to the river and is a fun ride. We got back into the city just in time to meet rush hour traffic coming out of town. Just over 200 mile ride. [/img]

There are wayside along Hwy 60 to stop but they were marked closed,
to early for tourists.

Hey all I'm new here Dan from Alaska so i just got my cb not long ago and immediately ordered the yoshi rscv race system and some renthal low bars my question is wether anyone can tell me if I have to install a power commander because of the exhaust not really looking for tons of hp and performance increase just wanted a classic style and sound to match my bike but also don't want any long term runability issues any info would be greatly appreciated

Before I get my nice new CB inspected I need to find a small plate that will mount on the front of the bike to save my front forks from a goopy inspection sticker. Anyone know who may sell such a thing that is set up for these bike's mounting points?

just hit the first 300 mile mark been treating the motor very nicely, varied RPM's, resisting my throttle urges. had exactly 1 mile leaving the dealer two weeks ago. What a sweet ride this is! I have owned big two cylinder bikes, XLCR and Thruxton. this is turbine-like in the smooth delivery of power, and you all are correct in that it is deceptive, you don't feel like you are accelerating very hard until you look at the speedo oops just a little north of legal!

ordering an unpainted Parabellum tomorrow, thanks for the paint codes, Parabellum doesn't have paint for the black 2014 in stock. I'll get a body shop buddy to shoot it for me with some color rite product! going with an 18" screen for the road and a 10" for bopping around the back roads.:thanks

Today my brother and I got together for a ride and decided to head to Ripley Ohio with a stop at one of our favorite lunch places Rockin' Robins. A 50's and 60's themed restaurant with a bunch of Elvis, Fat's Domino, Little Richard, Marilyn Monroe, Beatles décor and a half of a 57 Chevy Juke Box. My brother was on his British Triumph twin and me on the newer Japanese inline 4. Could have been 1969.

When we arrived in town and pulled around the corner we were met with some more of Britain's iconic roadsters. Not the original Triumph Bonnevilles, but rather the iconic British 2 seater sports cars that the world has never been able to copy. MGB's and MGB-GT's. Perfect lines, spoked wheels, gorgeous interiors, wood steering wheels. Just beautiful.

My brother has a Miata convertible with a power hard top he loves but admitted these were the real deal ..the originals.

Our bikes fit in perfectly even though they were a half century newer. Like I said, could have been 1969.

Took my seat to an upholsterer today to have a modification done. He is going to move the back part where my butt hits back about an inch and build up the front section to sort of create a saddle effect and hopefully I will not feel like I am sliding to the front all the time. If he can use the factory cover, which he thinks he can, I'll get out for $75 or so. I couldn't turn that down. He's another guy who has been doing upholstery for about 40 years.

Howdy all! I finally got my CB1100 registered today, so took her out for the inagural run. Stopped at a bar at the top of the mountain, and what are the odds that another CB1100 would be there?



And even funnier, is the guy riding it works in the same industry I do!

Took the 90 Guzzi California 3 and met up with buddies riding in from Kansas, and Cincinnati and put about 900 miles one her, she ran great after sitting for 8 years, but ergonomically I think I would have enjoyed the CB1100 better easier on my old bones.

So here are some highlights from our ride.

Meet with Ken Fischer (2015 Indiana Roadmaster) who came from Cincy to Lagrange KY, the we rode to Western Ky to the beautiful KY Dam State Resort park to meet up with Ken Vrana (Honda ST1100) coming in from Kansas stayed the night there. Rode Land between the lake day two down to Nashville, hung out in Nashville that night. Then headed across Central and SE KY to Manchester KY, then north to the Daniel Boone National Forest up RT 11 to the Red River Gorge. Next day rode the Gorge loop, and then split up and headed home our own ways. Great trip beautiful mid 60's no humidity,, lots of sunshine days for weather couldn't have ask for more.

Ken F. Ended up with about 800 Miles, Ken V. will have done around 2000 at the end of his trip and I did about 800.

Just wondering if anyone knows if the spoked wheels will fit a 2014? I have seen pictures of a white cb1100. I think those are Canadian. Thanks for any info you gentlemen might have. RickNRoll53
