Just wondering if anyone knows if the spoked wheels will fit a 2014? I have seen pictures of a white cb1100. I think those are Canadian. Thanks for any info you gentlemen might have. RickNRoll53

I have been thinking about a new bike to replace my ST1300 with something lighter and more sporty. I'm a Honda Guy and gave them a good look but nothing fit, the VFR800 had a bit to aggressive seating position and down on power and the sport tourers where just to heavy. The N1K was what I was looking for, high HP handling with an optional set of integrated bags for 2014 just seem to fit the bill. So, yesterday I traded the CB.

I have only had a chance to put 50 miles on it last eve, first impression, the seating position is upright with a bit of forward lean with a short reach to the bars, setup for a short rider The engine is wound up so tight 6 gear off throttle engine breaking had me thinking why have brakes on this bike LOL after coming off the CB1100. The bike comes with ABS, four modes of traction control with one of those position being off. In position one full on the bike will not spin up or wheelie just straight power to the ground. I need to put in some seat time to get a good feel of the bike.

I have been on this site for 2 years with over a month logged in and 117 PM, over that time I have looked forward each morning to have coffee (or tea) with Mickey and hope I have contributed and help a few members, I know I have gotten a lot of ideas and help here.

I see that every one has a status below their user name. I finally notice that Guth's says "Forum founder", Le Ferret "forum moderator", then there is first service (for newbies like me I guess ), but also high mileage, and such. How do those change (except for those in charge of course)? Does it change automatically with time, or is there a place where I can go to modify that?
What's the hierarchy? Is "running like a top" below "high mileage" or the other way around?

This June, one and possibly two buddies and I will be heading out from Stuttgart, Germany on a Thursday afternoon and returning on a Monday morning. We will be starting a little NW of the red pin, so the planned ride will be about 2,000 km / 1250 miles over two full days and two half days (three full days total). If we run into issues, the plan is to cut off the southern portions of the loop and turn back north.

The sharp-eyed will note that there's a momentary excursion into Italy between Arnoldstein, Austria and Bovec, Slovenia. I'm looking forward to the ride thereafter along the Julian Alps.

This would be something exciting to see. Mile Flat Track racing is racing as good as it gets and getting to see the great Troy Bayless ride on the dirt would be a treat.

I know it's been discussed here before, but is anyone running the TSR air funnel kit? I keep staring at this dyno sheet showing nearly 20hp gain thinking I should get it, but I wanted to hear from those who have done it already. After running TSRs website through google translate, I found the PCV map they provide. After comparing with a few shown on this site, it appears several people have been running this map with only the air filter tunnel which leads me to believe this map may not be rich enough if it's working with a reduced throat diameter... Anywho, has anyone done this yet? I may have to guinea pig, but have no access to a free dyno... Here is the translated page for the curious.
