Dear friends,
As I announced earlier, this Saturday I have made a ride to the battle fields in Leningrad region. The Blockade of Leningrad started in 08/09/1941. From the first days Red Army tryed to break it. There was number of operations during 1941-1943 in a region near Slisselburg. German command called this place as "bottle throat", because it was the narrowest point in the German defense. For example in 19/09/1941 soviet forces captured two beachheads on German side of Neva river. One of them named as "Nevsky pyatachok" was bloodiest place in Leningrad frontline. It was first point of my destination.
My ride started from cup of coffee at gasoline station
It is 35 km from Saint-Petersburg. A few kilometers before my destination I saw small wooden church and decided to stop there.
There was only one prayed old man there. My short prayer was for all people, killed there during the War.

A nice, relaxed ride across the Tagus River
https://goo.gl/maps/BDe0y
The goal was to tour the Guadiana Natural Park and enjoy the local cuisine.
We left Lisbon around 9:30 a.m., and after about 80 km of highway riding, took to the secondary roads heading south.
The bikes:
Crossing into Serpa:
We reached Serpa around 1 p.m. and had a great lunch at the “Molhó Bico” (loosely translates to “wet your beak”) restaurant. Great regional dishes centered around pork (a regional species, also available in southern Spain, called “Porco Preto”, or “Black Pork”.
Lunch:
Properly fed and watered, we headed a bit further south to an old mining town called “Mina de São Domingos” where we enjoyed the local reservoir beach. Leaving around 4 p.m., we headed west towards Mértola, crossing the Guadiana River, stopping for a couple of pictures.
After that, it was northern bound towards Lisbon and, after getting into a summer shower in Vendas Novas (it really cleared the bugs from my visor), we got home at about 8 p.m..
Really great ride all around.
Lunch continued:
Mina de São Domingos:
Mina de São Domingos continued:
And Mértola:
Heading home:

As I noted elsewhere on this forum, my CB1100 began exhibiting some poor fueling issues when traveling at steady speeds in lower RPMs. Installation of an O2 sensor eliminator plug immediately corrected this problem. I wasn't totally keen on leaving the eliminator installed permanently and finally got around to ordering a new oxygen sensor unit for my bike. I installed the new sensor last night. I only had time for a short test ride today and thus far everything seems fine.
A few times I caught myself thinking that there might have been the slightest amount of surging/hunting going on. Honestly, I really couldn't tell and figured that I was probably just looking for something wrong. I can't say for sure that the bike is running as smoothly now with the new sensor installed as it did with the sensor eliminator. However, I can say that it is definitely running more smoothly now than it did with the old sensor installed.
I'll give it some time and then report back on the results.

I had to take my bike in to have an oil leak looked at. It has always leaked at a bolt in the casing under the engine hanger bolt, not a drip but more of a sweat. I had cleaned it several times and sure enough it always was present after a good ride.
Unfortunately the dealer that I took my bike to said it will take a couple weeks for Honda to approve or deny the fix.
Anyone has any experience with Honda Warranty work that was approved or denied and time frames?
Thanks in advance
