I think I already know the answer to this question, but I am not thrilled to even think about it.

I bought a leftover '14 a couple weeks ago. Yesterday I went down to take it out, and before I did I was looking it over. It had right at 100 miles on it, and I noticed some oil on a couple of the cyl fins.

I haven't looked since, but I will head to the garage in a bit and look again and take a picture.

2013 CB1100 ABS, 2,200 miles with a FULL Whitehouse Kit. If you're really interested - this could be worth chasing. Happy Hunting!

I've been following articles on Cycle World's web site for some time on this race bike's development. This "finished" bike looks beautiful. The motor is a mostly clean sheet effort with the emphasis on making ideal power for it's intended purpose.

It will probably not happen but would it not be fantastic to see this bike, modified just enough to be street legal. I would have to have one.

I thought I'd go ahead an create an actual poll thread on this.

Just bought a new 2014 Black CB1100A. I need a rear rack. The one I would like is available from Honda oem or from Samurider but apparently only for the DLX/EX model. Samurider offers a sanctioned from Honda aftermarket product. Can I get a oem rear rack for my CB1100 or will I have to resort to the sanctioned one offered by Samurider?? Any advice would be a big help. Thanks.

If so, do you have the original garnish stay and 2 bolts for each side, and any other original hardware I may not be aware of, and are willing to give or sell to a fellow member of this forum?

Just took delivery of a sweeeet DLX, only has 1,100 miles. Among other accessories it has the luggage rack and I'd like to return to stock.

My brand new to me DLX made it about 4 hours ago. Looks near perfect!! I have been detailing it and taking off some the accessories I don't want. One of them is the rear luggage rack. I think I got in a bit over my head! I was able to get it off, but am not sure which bolts, etc., are meant to go back on now that the rack is off. The chrome piece that has the rear blinker on it is dangling down on both sides.

Can someone give me super clear instructions on how to re-assemble those 4 bolts? Which washers, etc., and in which order are meant to go back on?

Any photos or drawings from the shop manual?

I tracked down a copy of the installation instructions. Not sure if that will give clear answers on how to un-install.
