Rode with my V47 trunk yesterday. Don't normally use the big one, but was planning on some shopping on the way home from work.
I've always found it comical that Givi insists on putting "tail lights" on their trunks that serve no function unless you buy their extra light kits. They don't even function as reflectors.
At some point a few years ago, I pulled the lenses off of this one and cut some Scotchlite reflective tape to fit inside the lenses, then put it back together. I never really paid attention to how effective it could be until last night. The UPS guy was making a late pickup, and his headlights were pointed at the back of my bike inside my shop. I guess it does work!

I've been using this tool when I want to find fun roads to drive in my weekend car and now that I got the CB1100, I've been using it a lot more since lower speed roads are just as fun: [url=http://roadcurvature.com]roadcurvature.com
They do some fancy algorithmic scanning of google maps so there are definitely some roads that are just too short for any real fun but I found some hidden gems in San Diego so far.

I've been reading the history thread, and there the "a little history" post. And I am sure it got covered somewhere in the forum, but I can't find it. Would anybody have an extensive list of changes which occurred between the original model released (in the US in 2013), and the 2017 EX ?
I am aware of the following changes
- tank size & shape / seats
- colors and wheels
- display unit between the round instruments
- some with or without ABS (anti-lock brakes)
Have there been any other significant modifications between these two landmark years ? Ideal would be a side-by-side table with specs/changes . I am not interested in country specific models like the RS which came later.
Thanks

Well, I never thought I'd say this, but I'm thinking of selling the CB, and the BMW. Going to look at a 2015 Yamaha FJ-09 later today. Hankering for one do-it-all bike, and I want to move only one bike to TX. On advice from a forum member, I'd thought about taking the Honda, and then doing whatever was necessary in TX, but just looking is OK, right?

Time to break out my favorite helmet!
It's at the office because I tried to wear it for the company Christmas card photo.
The boss made me take it off...
