I stumbled upon this on Cycle World Magazine's YouTube page. It's a promotional film from Honda featuring the King of Cool himself, Steve McQueen. Lots of great desert riding action. Not surprisingly, it has a similar vibe as On Any Sunday. Anyway, I figured a few of y'all might like to see this.

The Ferret, in [url=http://cb1100forum.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=7226&pid=110123#pid110123]this thread, made this comment in his reply:
Nice road indeed. It was the Omeo Valley Highway and it would have to rate as one of the best, if not the best, motorcycle road in Australia. From Omeo to Mitta Mitta is 104 kms. The first time I rode the Omeo it was still, for the most part, dirt. Rain made it a very interesting ride. Some sections were being prepared for sealing and had been graded and compacted giving the impression of riding on a strip of brown ice. I was glad to get off it. Last year I road it in company with Cormanus and Jalalski enroute to the 2014 MotoGP. Cormanus gives a description in [url=http://cb1100forum.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=4453&pid=67128#pid67128]this post.
On the return from this years MotoGP I had my GoPro up and running over much of the Omeo. Ferret's post inspired me to put together a video to try to give forum members an impression of how good this road is. My first cut was just over three minutes in duration. I was satisfied with it but I felt it didn't convey enough about this road and it's many interesting sections over that wild 104kms. In particular it didn't give an idea of the stamina that is required to ride the Omeo at any pace. The final cut is just on 10 minutes. I hope the quality is such that you will ride the Omeo Valley Highway with me, and enjoy it. Let me know.

I have been following this site for years, if only for the pictures. I cannot be held responsible for loss of productivity spent here. If you have visited this site, you will understand. Its just seriously eye opening.

Thats their tagline, but it fits pretty well.

I just got an e-newsletter from my Honda Powerhouse Dealer in Milton, Ontario:
There are only 4 New 2014 CB1100A's left in all of Canada, including One in Milton.
Honda is supposed to update North American dealers later this month about 2016 models. Even if a 2016 CB1100 is announced, I'm certainly glad I pulled the trigger on mine in early 2014.

Greetings all. The other day I noticed that the top, flat surface of my oil cooler is blistered. It was hot so I didn't touch it to check if it was just the black paint coming off the metal, but it appeared there were large blisters forming on its upper surface of the metal itself.
Has anyone else noticed this? I'll check to see if it's paint or metal blistering tonight when I get home.

Rossi's appeal dismissed. He'll start at the rear of the grid. The Repsol Hondas could be his best friend if they can keep Jorge off the top 2 steps of the podium. Rossi could finish 6th and still be the champion if that's the case.

Anybody know the exact measured diameter of the original 2013 CB1100 Dunlop 140/70-18?
The Michelin Road Pilot 3 160/60ZR18 measured 25.55" according to Michelin. I think the Michelins look smaller in diameter but can't find the specs anywhere on the internet re: the OEM Dunlop.

Between daylight savings time and getting closer to THE DREADED FLORIDA WINTER, I will be riding more after dark. Hope this mod helps me be seen.
