  Steel Rear Sprockets
Posted by: johnnyj_imp - 01-15-2016, 02:26 PM - Forum: Mechanical & Technical - Replies (29)

After reading Peking Ducks great thread about sprockets and his experience last year I started emailing 7th Gear Design in July trying to buy a set of sprockets. After several emails, voice mails, and month passed, I have given up and bought a 19 tooth steel front sprocket from PBI.
Was thinking there is probably others that have been down this road and may have found a line on a 37 tooth steel rear sprocket.
I will post up if any of my inquiries yield any leads.

Thanks in advance

  Cheap Tyres
Posted by: Cormanus - 01-15-2016, 12:44 PM - Forum: Riding Gear - Replies (10)

About 18 months ago Enzo, Pterodactyl and I met a bloke on a Triumph Rocket that he'd found 'a bit gutless' so he'd bored it out to 2800 cc. As I recall he'd done something hideous to the exhaust so you could hear him from 100 kms away and was also running a car tyre on the back of it.

Turns out that may be OK according to some—http://www.motorcycle.com/features/skidmarks-dark-side-riders.html

Does Samurider sell a 4-into-1 outrigger and sail attachment? Preferably with the right chrome accents. If so, I can save on shipping and sail this one home!

  2014 Gauges question
Posted by: Olyrider - 01-15-2016, 10:36 AM - Forum: General Discussion - Replies (5)

I have a 2013,

I'm going to swap out the LEDs in the gauge cluster. Or maybe it's LCD. Doesn't matter.

Does anyone _not_ like the blue/white on the 2014s? Daytime or night?

I can use almost any color I'd like, but if blue/white works, I'm happy with that.

How do I go about entering additional info about my bike so that it appears under my thread like the rest of you do?

  Red Light Fun
Posted by: Jeephoto_imp - 01-15-2016, 08:06 AM - Forum: General Discussion - Replies (11)

Sometimes, when waiting on a long red light, I like to lift both feet and see how long I can balance my CB1100. Kind of like a Trials rider; feet up and complete stop.

Of course, all the while "checking my six" for cars behind me.

I couldn't do that on my KLR650 because my little short legs required one foot down only. I can get both feet down on the CB.

  Chic Design Front Fender Mod
Posted by: CB4ME_imp - 01-15-2016, 07:22 AM - Forum: Accessories/Modifications - Replies (15)

I modified my Chic Design "short" front fender today. I was afraid to shorten the fender but did remove the 4 aluminum cross braces to clean up the look. Chic Design fenders are cool but definitely have an old school look. What do you think?
