Black or Silver on the rims.....I like it stock but the idea of black is starting to appeal to me!

Need a favor if possible - I'm contemplating painting or powder coating my rims black.

Anyone in here good with Photoshop that can color in the silver section on my rims so I can get an idea of what they would look like in solid black?

Finally able to get a mount made. It's made from two different mounts the upper part is from a Yamaha or Suzuki.The lower two pieces are from a late 70's CB750. The reason for three pieces was to work around the oil cooler.

Total cost around 250.00. Paid 50 for the fairing, 75 for fabrication, 35 for one mount the other free and 60 for the powder coating.

I ride my CB year round, luckily here in the south we're blessed with great weather so riding in the winter is pretty easy. We definitely get some cold mornings, but usually we get in the 50s during the day so its not so bad (its 70 today haha).

I picked up a Puig Windscreen to help cut the cold air on my ride into work, got it for $40 shipped so I figured what the heck......took all of 2 seconds to install and I'm digging it!

Normally I'm not a big fan of windscreens or fairings, but this one is really starting to grow on me! I may leave this on in the summer..we'll see!

It's a lightweight leather jacket, true to size, and USA cut...meaning they allowed room for that expanding gut line you worked real hard at from all that BBQ & ribeyes.

The Clash or Ronin jackets fit tighter at the waist, euro cut, befitting someone w/ a flat belly.

I saw a pic of a CB with a brown seat and it really appealed to me. Anyone have one and/or can offer guidance toward finding one?

Last Friday commute to/from office (32 mi, some traffic) and Saturday's round trip JAX-St. Augustine for the monthly match (75mi, chill traffic) and according to its instruments I got 38.5 MPG. Not far from what I get from my wife's TSX.

Still makes me feel like so "who cares?"



There will be alotta stops on the way to VA.
