Hi
I have been thinking about buying and fitting a pair of chrome covers onto the speedo and tacho to enhance the look of the bike. Problem seems to be none are listed for my 2015 CB1100 SA-E
Does anyone know if these are standard throughout the range and if the ones advertised for the 2013 bikes will fit please and how easy are they to replace the existing black ones on the bike.
Many thanks
Chris

Several years ago I came across a pair of unlined gloves riding gloves that I loved, more than I've had before or since. They had the thickest leather I've ever come across. Even in cold they were warmer than fleece lined cowhide gloves.
I've been searching for them ever since.
Thanks to the net I found a good replacement set.
These gloves are unlined but the thickest, made from elkskin and offer the best protection of any natural glove. I've rode with them in 100 degree temps, a little warm. Also I've rode with them in 26 degree temps and also a little cool, but far from freezing my fingers.
These are just all around great gloves. Their quality is top notch.
I prefer wrist length riding gloves but they also are available in gauntlets.
Check it out at FoxCreekLeather.com.[/size]

| Question on max number of pics in a post |

I seem to remember that we have a max # of pics per individual post/reply. Is that still the case and if so what’s the total? I’m asking because it looks like weather may be conducive for me to make a loop around the north half of Lake Powell Monday/ Tuesday and plan to do a pic intensive post ride report to start rebuilding our ride report library that the PhotoBucket fiasco destroyed.

For many of us, winter presents itself as a great time to sit down with a good book (along with a good pair of reading glasses in my case, lol) as a way to enjoy the "quieter side" of life presented by this season. I know that we've covered this in the past here in the forum, but in the spirit of addressing the "skinny posts syndrome" I thought I'd bring this up again just in case anyone else has hit upon some new titles that i'm not familiar with.
Peter Egan's "Leanings" books (Vols. 1,2, and 3) are great not only because they are so entertaining but because they can be read in small chunks (separate articles). This is especially nice for revisiting the books.
Big Sid's Vincati was a great read and I learned a lot about Vincent's in the process.
"The Vincent in the Barn" and "The Devil can Ride" were both enjoyable collections of short stories/articles.
My favorite so far has been "Mann of His Time" (a Dick Mann biography).
I'm currently reading "Evel", and "Ghost Rider" is good, but now finds itself waiting for me to pick it back up again after a long spell of sitting back on the shelf. I've also got a couple more books lined up waiting for me to get to them later on this winter (or next) including "Riding Man" and "Zen and Now — On the Trail of Robert Pirsig and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance".
Anyone else still here who is a member of the "Motorcycle Book Club"?

Hey Guys,
Checking my tires for the date manufactured just now. And inside the tire in the oval it reads 6215. My bike is a 2014 and the last time I checked there is only 52 weeks in a year. Any thoughts ? They are the OEM tires by the way.
THanks,
JF
