Has anyone purchased the red trunk box from samurider?

Mr. T has advised that color is not an exact match to the 2014 Deluxe but it is pretty close. Can anyone provide any real world experience with this product? Is it in the 2013 color? If so, I don't think these would be close enough in my view.

I just got a Facebook notice there is a 2013 with 1350 miles on for sale in Texas for $6000 firm.
It is posted on CB 1100 owners group.

Has anyone purchased the 'new' oem grip heaters (08T50-mge-000) on Samurider? It says they fit 2010-2016 but the model number differs from what some have installed here which is:

08T50-MGE-101 - Honda Heated Grip Kit
08T70-MGC-D30 - CB1100 DLX attachment kit

My real question is whether the attachment kit shown above will also work with the 08T50-mge-000?

Cant find definitive answer anywhere.

Hey everyone,

I received a Dart Marlin screen for my CB1100 at Christmas. Long story short - my bike is a 2017 and, guess what, it won’t fit. Unfortunately I only got to look a putting it on as of today and just didn’t notice the bottom brackets are different on my bike. Yes I’m a dumb dumb. No I can’t return it.

Because we Greeks just love motorcycles...and fun . For your information, "white patos" means : bottoms up.

Hi Folks,

I had to slacken the handlebar clamp and higher the bars slightly on my 1100 ex.

Does anyone with a Service Manual know the correct torque values for -

Bar Clamp

Brake & Clutch Lever Perch

Bar Switch Units

Cos I think they all might need adjusting slightly and the bar clamps definitely need re-torqueing.

Is there a torque setting chart anywhere on here ??

I made another trip to my father in laws new “home” in Lutcher LA today and crossed the “ bridge to nowhere” West across the big muddy and took the river road North. Found another cool little place to eat also.

As I've shared my track experiences on the CB1100 before, I finally pulled the trigger on a dedicated track bike. The CB was a lot of fun on the track, but I didn't like putting it through that kind of wear and tear, and I would be broken hearted if I watched its beautiful paint and chrome slide across the blacktop or worse....

With some research and expert advice I decided to keep my eyes out for a 2001-2006 CBR600 F4I. Last weekend after the Toronto Motorcycle Show I went to see a 2002 CBR600F4I with 48km on it. The bike starts right away, sounds good running and the brakes and tires are in good condition.

As I'm a new rider most insurance companies won't touch me on a 600 super sport and those that will want serious $$$$. So I've decided not to plate or insure it and to bring it to the track on a trailer. I've already booked a track school and a few track days here in Southern Ontario.

Can't wait for the weather to get here!
