Looking to purchase a waterproof cover to take along on trips and to park the bike outside the garage for short intervals (when I'm woodworking, i.e. making dust).

I've looked. There are too many choices - if ya know what I mean.

I think I'd rather take a few recommendations and narrow the search.

I just watched the stunning fireworks display from Sydney, Australia.

So I went from a '14 to a '17EX recently and was checking out the maintenance schedules in the instruction manuals. Who doesn't read manuals for fun?

Since I did all the maintenance on my '14 I figured I was all set, not THAT much has changed, right? So imagine my curiosity when I saw the oil change and filter replacement interval have both doubled to 8,000mi and 16,000mi, respectively. I always thought 4,000mi intervals were a little conservative especially since I was using synthetic anyway (Rotella T6 5w40 I think, the recommended 10w30 isn't really rated for southwest US summers), but since the job is so easy I didn't really mind doing it anyway.

Anyone know why they changed it up? I noticed the valve clearance checks are the same, for what it's worth.

Thought I would share a couple of shots of my perfect 2014. I picked her up as a leftover last year for $6,199. I've added a few touches such as the Corbin in black leather with red stitching to pick up the pinstripe on the tank, OEM engine guards, a chrome chain guard, and an Arrow Pro Race full exhaust system. The Arrow Pro is awesome and allows me to swap the baffle in and out in a minute or so depending on how I feel for the day. Without the baffle at 6,000+ on the tach she really howls. With the baffle she has a nice studly low rumble a bit louder than stock. The bike runs crisper and cleaner with the system and hopefully the headers won't discolor as much as the stock system. If they do I'll get them powder coated.

Anybody pulled the engine covers off and if so how much of a hassle was it? I understand there is no gasket,only sealer,I tried pulling the left cover off but no dice without prying on it somewhere.

Need dimensions of 2017 EX "HONDA" tank emblem .
Hight x length in inches or centimeters, also if side/surface facing tank is slightly concave or flat.
