Just a quick poll. How do you guys feel about ion-lithium replacement batteries. Obviously OEM is preferred, but I just got a high end ion-lith for my birthday and was wondering what the general consensus was. The research I've done seems to sing high praises and my OEM was toast anyways. The weight difference is amazing honestly.

At the moment I am thinking about switching out the standard seat on my 2013 CB (non abs) with a “retro-stitched” seat that comes with the 2014 deluxe model. I was wondering if the fitment would be an issue? Thanks!

I took a lot of digging and research but finally got everything needed to put together the spoke wheels for my bike. I’m in the U.S. so everything but the spokes,rims came from Samurider in Japan. Samurider sells a complete kit but only in 18 inch diameters,I wanted 19-17 so put together my own deal. I got the hubs and all associated parts from Samurider and the rims,spokes and nipples from Buchanan’s Wheels and Spokes. Everything bolted right up with no drama,grief. Price,very expensive,the hubs alone were $1500.00.One thing I found a little odd was the dealer only has info,part numbers for bikes sold in the U.S. and nothing sold outside the Country,any info I needed all came from Samurider or outside in he U.S. [url=https://postimg.cc/rRyf0xzf]

[url=https://postimg.cc/94wXvxTQ] I’ve always thought the 2014 Standard seat was a little too plain so I put a 2014 Deluxe seat on my bike only to find out it did fit but didn’t look right. After doing some digging I found there are brackets and spacers that go with the Deluxe seat in order to get it to fit on the 2014 Standard. This picture is with the Deluxe seat and all the hardware in place. What the brackets do is reposition the grabbar so it follows the bottom edge of the seat.
[url=https://postimg.cc/FYTbqsbw] As you can see in this picture the Deluxe seat sits on top of the grab bars,the seat will latch but at some point the bars will cut into the vinyl that and it just doesn’t look right.

I need advice on which type of air compressor to buy. The two I have don’t have the power to fill my tires. I hate using gas stations for this. What should I look for in an air compressor?

I’ve opened a FLICKR account and I’ve transferred pictures over to the account but can figure out how to post them in a thread,I’m working on my iPhone 6 only,no computer. I used to have a Photo Bucket account and it was easy using it but since Photo Bucket got stupid and decided to hold everybody’s account hostage I won’t use it anymore.

Maybe I'm going crazy, but for the life of me I could swear my '17 EX was noticeably less buzzy today on the freeway. Normally, I tend to hover around 70 mph on her, because 75 mph equates to 3,500 rpm, which is precisely where the buzziness kicks in, and it stays relatively buzzy until 5K. Once the tach hits 5K, it's smooth sailing again.

Today, 75 mph was as smooth as glass. This was the first time I've ever locked in on 75 mph and remained there, intentionally. I wanted to see if this new smoothness would stick, and it did. I never felt any need to back it down a skosh, in order to get out of the buzzy zone. This time, there really wasn't any buzzy zone. Honestly, between my last ride and this one, it was like hitting a light switch. The difference was that pronounced.

I only have a little over 7k miles on her. She hasn't had any recent servicings. The damnable brake squeal is still there. Nothing has been touched or changed.

Since I am having my PMS (Post Motorcycle Syndrome) here in Canada, I had to do something to my bike.
I installed a old handle bar clamp from a 90's Nighthawk on my bike.
It just makes it looks better.
Originally, it was painted black, however, I spent a few hours on the buffer wheel and finally it has a satin finish.

I also added a thermometer in between the 2 gauges.

On my way to work. I normally avoid being behind pickups. Anyway, here is the video. After I hit it I pulled over and ask the driver to be careful when packing his truck.

Most any bike is fine up to about 50 mph, but once at that speed or faster the wind can make you feel like your body is a sail being pushed backwards. Do you have a windscreen on your bike, and if so, which one?
